Made my own by buying some car carpet from e-bay and using the spare wheel cover as a base template. Probably better than the stock. You could be creative like I am doing on my Datsun. Going for a black carpet, cutting out a rising sun in the middle and laying some red underneath the red and mounting it on some hardboard. World is your lobster. DIY for the win.

So what are the mod plans Andy ?. Good to see you back in a trusty z again. That was such a good call putting that oxblood roof on the soft top. Looked so good when I saw it they day after it was done when we had our z picnic in the roasting sunshine.

He's back...My money is on the beard returning next Spring too.

As Steve has said the community is a massive part of the association with these cars which I why I am still upholding my role as South East REO despite coming away from the z's although I am still in the family. Just own a Granpa Datsun. My 3 cars on my forum journey below. 350z/370z Nismo and now Datsun SSS Coupe. Love this place and the folk on it.

Another classic example of how un knowledgeable the main dealers are on these cars. Do not give your car to a main dealer, its been said soooo many times before. I gave my 350z to a main dealer years ago and asked them to just put it on a ramp and refit a rear vacuum hose on my plenum, 10 min job. I called after 3 hours and they said they were working on it still. Tried to palm me off with a bill for £360 + vat. I stormed in there made a scene, gave them £30 and demanded my keys back. Suffice to say I got my car back and vowed NEVER to use a MD again. The lot you used should be shot. I would insist on my money back based on wrong diagnosis and bloody neglect for not refitting bolts. I would demand my money back or go to OFT.

Having read the post video comments on here I cant even bring myself to watch it as I know it will just wind me up no end.

lol. I work bloody long hours but manage my own time so always checking in on you guys and maintaining my responsibilities as REO for this great place. My passion is cars, hence my time on here. I am not on face ache and don't get involved in other things like twatter etc. Not getting defensive, just saying how it is. I have been working overseas all week but always find time to jump on here when taking some time out. I'm not in Ekona's league.lol. Love your car BTW.

Of course buddy, your wheels your choice. Life would be dull if we all did the same things.

Paul. Your wheels but I spent a small fortune on these for my Nismo and applied Poorboys wheel wax every week and they were fine and well protected all year round.

Novelty wore off a long time ago. I spend a week a month there but haven't since March. Had to go this week to sort an issue. Got to stay at home for two weeks when I get back. Life is a pain for everyone right now.

I cant honestly remember as it was on a long list of mods I did both to the 350z and Nismo. I went for blue interior lights on the 350z and red on the Nismo. Very cool and not that expensive given the result. Outside the top 10 on the mod list costings spreadsheet.
