  1. The same car came up here last week. AVOID, Overpriced, too many owners and no mention of servicing. These cars need maintaining, cut corners on the roads but not on maintenance. I owned one myself for 3 years, great cars but move on from this one is my advice. Welcome along.
  2. I have a pair of 370z ones if anyone is interested.
  3. Steady on buddy. I think your money is safe.
  4. improved his post count though.
  5. swerve the first one, I smell a rat as a previous owner of a white Mark 2 Nismo. Too many owners just for starters. These cars can be driven hard BUT they need looking after, servicing etc and I five owner car in 5 years is going to lose your money faster than you backing Sheff Utd to win the premier league.
  6. Not the infamous transport blocks subject again. Please don’t tell me you are driving the car with them still in the springs ?
  7. no need when Mitz is on your doorstep. He is more than capable.
  8. Fingers crossed it goes ahead. We have a lot of ground to cover between now and then.
  9. Thanks. Happy New Year Andy. Hope to see you in the summer.
  10. Thanks Col. Plenty more to do but happy to do any bits and pieces if anyone wants me too. Sadly I actually enjoy the challenge and work.
  11. Just did a little bit more polishing today. Petrol cap needed a polish. Before and after a Dremel and polishing wheel session in the shed.
  12. Congrats and welcome. Are you saying your brought it without seeing or driving it ?
  13. Agreed. I wouldn't want to be responsible for making a product that could result in a major car accident or death. The fixing has to be bullet proof. Good luck with the project though.
  14. The rear one was fabricated in metal a number of years ago by a member called Grundy who ran off with everyones money.. Obvious to say but the fixing of these is key. Can you imagine a rear louvre flying off at 70 mph. Weight is your other challenge as do people really want to add that much weight on their z ??. Rear visibility is not great on these cars so personally I would not want to make it worse than it already is. The side louvres are obviously easier. I had them ones on my Nismo which I liked.. You will also have to register on her as a member trader before you can sell them to this group. Good luck with the venture, nice to see a member fabricating something for the other members to enjoy too. .
  15. what tax band does it fall into out of interest ?
  16. Yes, extra. If you are planning to keep then then I would get them colour matched.
  17. if you are happy that's the main thing. Think you may have paid top dollar though. Change those wheels and they car will look much better. Welcome along.
  18. Welcome. Buying cars can be impulsive. These cars need looking after so I hope you haven't brought the first car you have seen with your heart and not your head. Just feels like this is a rushed purchase but I could be wrong. Either way I hope you have found a well cared for example and you enjoy the ride. This forum will be priceless to your ownership.
  19. Thanks. (Was) sold it in August last year after 3 years of ownership.
  20. careful, you are bordering on offending me.
