  1. What car do you have ? Oh and you live in Brighton !. Are you not attending Incarnation in Brighton this month on or stand ?
  2. Well done Andy. I know as my role as REO what effort and time it takes to put a small to medium club stand together for a show. Until you walk in those shoes you never appreciate how much work it is. Your work is never taken for granted organising this huge gathering and for all the other events you do. Without your energy and dedication events like this are unlikely to happen. Well done again mate. See you in Brighton for the next show in a few weeks. Martin
  3. You need to add your name to the list if you want to join the stand. Copy and paste the list and add your name. Just replying as no doubt Andy is on his way back from Japfest.
  4. It’s insight and information like this that makes this forum and the guys and girls signed up to it such a valuable place and great community.
  5. She does. Will be at Ace Cafe with me
  6. Small update. Front strut bar arrived from the USA. Perfect fit, very
  7. Would love to come down again Andy. Count me in if I can bring the 510 on the stand. Not offended if you prefer to keep it to zs only.
  8. Yep. I have a manual choke bit have removed the handle as the 510 floods with the choke and is renowned for it. 3 pedal pumps of the accelerator to get fuel into the fuel filter and she normally fires first time. I’m sure you will find the best start up procedure for the Stang in good time. Patience is your friend with these old cars but as I say it’s part of their charm albeit frustrating some times. Enjoy.
  9. Glad you got it started. It’s one of the charms and headaches of owning old cars. On my Datsun 510 if it doesn’t fire after 4/5 attempts in the cold then she won’t start until I take out the spark plugs and clean them as they coke up. Put them back in and bang she’s fires first time. One for you to consider if you keep trying to turn her over and she struggles more and more each time. Enjoy ownership. I’m enjoying my 1970 SSS 510 more than the many cars I’ve owned including my 350z and 370Z Nismo. Martin
  10. Just copy and paste the current list and add your name. Nice to see the numbers growing .
  11. Welcome. Looks very nice. Where are you based ?.
  12. Details will go up in April so watch this space guys and girls.
  13. Decided to treat my SSS Datsun 510 to the upgraded Supersonic Grill that was offered new in 1971. Test fitted today will fully fit tomorrow. Before grill second photo , Supersonic grill below. Very pleased.
  14. Will be along to the April meeting in my 510 providing it doesn’t clash with Incarnation.
  15. Ambitious estimate although it is a right hooker. It’s going to need some work for sure.My guess is 14-16k .Love the show..
  16. None of you lads fancy Incarnation at Brighton in April ?.
  17. Personally much rather buy from a forum member than a trader. Traders know nothing about these cars and what they take to maintain. Members do, simples.. as I say good luck with your search.
  18. Good luck with your search . Always good to look at the Zeds for sale on here as they will more likely be well cared for and known.
  19. Mine was Go Japan again at Brands Hatch. Great show and great on track racing.
  20. I guess you mean Corrie as in Coronation Street ?. I don’t watch the show but saw an ad last night previewing next week where a stock gun metal z gets trashed
  21. Pop your name down for Incarnation next month in Brighton as per the thread.
