  1. Great offer. I`ll see if thats possible, only have my Zed a few weeks, and dont know anyone local with a zed, haven't got much drive time in my Zed either as i have a misfire issue , waiting patiently inline to get it to a mechcanic i eventually found who knows his way around a zed engine.
  2. Uprev add some software into the stock ECU when we 1st flash the ECU to allow us to tune your ECU , nothing is hard wired in and the can be put back to stock if needed. Piasini tuning require some soldiering on the circuit board to allow the map to be changed, normally a generic map that isnt tuned to your car. I dont know if it can be put back to stock either. Piggy back modifies the outputs from the stock ECU like E manage or F-con where as the Haltech outputs its own fuel and ignition signals but is using the stock ecu for a few other signals and to keep the car happy with regards can bus etc etc. We will soon have a proper stand alone after market ECU for the zed's will be on the dyno soon to start the development on this system with our own car. So, unless I get myself and my Zed to the mainland I'm screwed
  3. Piasini thanks have used a few forums where this feature is built in. have to swot up on my computer skills.
  4. Hi, Having searched for an UpRev dealer Here In N Ireland and come up with nothing, ive found a tuning company that uses this software http://www.piasiniengineering.com/index.php?id=6 has any forum members heard of it or even used it before, any opinions or experiences would be helpful PS: how can i add my own text to link website instead of the full length link?
  5. sorry to hear the binmen took a dislike to her, hope you have a trouble free future with the car
  6. Oh, we have seen 1 305z, recognised the sound but wasn't quick enough to get a pic, This pic was taken in Eze, absolutely stunning views.
  7. Still in Nice, just one pic of many amazing cars we seen while in Monaco. This place is amazing.
  8. You are guessing again Get a proper professional diagnoses Alex Going to order 6 refurd injectors online that have been through ASNU treatment, can do no harm and my mechanic thinks this is were problem lies. Just a pity we don't have access to dedicated zed garages/tuners as you guys have on the mainland.
  9. Thanks Alex, It`s actually quite hard to detect any miss on take over, really feel it though when driving and accelerating. have passed on your info to my mechanic and said to him about pressure test, hes up to his eyes at present so im hoping he can give the Zed some attention soon. Thanks Paul.
  10. Just thinking out loud now, is the fuel filter on the zed known to give any problems. I understand it is a non-serviceable part that should not need replaced, but just wondering if it can fail/cause problems like im having?
  11. Hi Alex, Yeah had the misfire before service, that was one of the reasons to get the Major service. Got all service parts from your good self including plugs, so hopefully not plug related problem. Nissan gave me the 2 codes the multiple misfire and No6 misfire, only getting multiple now. If i cant get a code to a particular cylinder it will be hard to diagnose which injector is at fault if any. with 75,000 on the clock would it be a good idea to replace/refurbish injectors anyway. I run the car on 97RON but i dont know what the previous owner run it on. Thanks for your reply and help. Paul.
  12. Hi All, My Zed is not well, (2004,75,000miles) We havent been able to drive her this last week or more, Have the EML light on steady and sometimes flashing. she is driving pretty rough, feels like a definite misfire. Got a Major service carried out at the local dealership, and they give me codes P0300, P0306. They said i needed a coil pack and also said there was oil around plug 6. They told me what i needed to fix the oil problem, but after a chat with Zmanalex it turns out they havent a clue. I sourced a coil pack and fitted myself to No6, and found no difference, also tried swapping coil packs but no noticeable difference. The car is now with my own mechanic,he has tried the same as me and same result. So, what is the next step? would the injectors cause this problem, is there any way to know for sure if its an injector problem, the code is now just P0300. Is it a trial and error scenario now, should i replace injectors? does any forum members refurbish injectors? has anyone else had the same problem and could advise on steps taken to resolve? sorry for all the questions, but would love her back on the road for Saturday to take us to airport. all help really appreciated.
