  1. Yeah it's nice to know it's been owned by an enthusiast rather than someone who didn't know about it. Cheers Si.
  2. Yeah when I got it I wasn't sure if they worked as they don't make any audible sound when first engaging reverse like I've heard in some cars with sensors, and I didn't want to reverse into a wall to see if they worked. Wasn't until I got a mate to stand behind the car that I realised they were working. Not realising I only just had to have the ignition on for them to work.... (first car I've owned with reversing sensors so I was non the wiser). Thanks Si.
  3. yeah I've made use of the mini disc already, dusted off the old hifi with 3x mini disc record facility, burned some mp3's to cd then cd-mini disc record in the hifi....... Yeah I could of just used the cd's in the car but the mini discs are so much more robust than cd's. Works a treat and they sound great too. By the sounds of it then I've come out trumps finding the Z with all it's extra goodies. Would like to get the factory UK sat nav retro fitted at some point as well as the bluetooth phone kit, but those are things for the future. Just enjoying the car as it is at the mo. I drove the GT Turbo to work today......no comparison. Back to the Z tomorrow
  4. Cheers fella. Case closed then. So the facelift JDM had all the bells n whistles it comes with then? Or did Dan retro fit some of them himself do you know? Thanks Si.
  5. nice to know the former owner is known to the forum then. I'd love to know some history about the car if possible. Which aftermarket exhaust it's got on it etc. There was some receipts when I initially went to see the car but these were "mislaid" possibly by the MOT garage when I went to pick it up, as had the certificate for cobra alarm that's fitted. Consequently I'm going to have to go pay to get a garage to give me some proof of it's installation for insurance purposes. Bit annoying but nothing I can do about it. The usual if it turns up we'll post them on was mentioned but I've probably got more chance of winning the lottery Thanks Si.
  6. Just been to check and yeah it's got them in both the driver and passenger side door cards. Thanks Si.
  7. lol oh well. Back to square one then....it's a mystery... Si
  8. Yeah I think when it came into the country in 2008 the importers must of done a good job on it. Proper rear fog integrated into the cluster, speedo converted to mph as well as the digital clocks (currently sits at 55,700 miles), limiter removed, BOSE has a band expander. Thought it was rear led lights but wasn't sure, but thanks for clearing that up. They maybe did a whole refresh on it, who knows Si.
  9. Nice one, was 99% sure but that secures it thanks
  10. Hi, thought I would introduce myself and post a few photos of my new 350z or should I say Fairlady Z33. I'm more or less confident that its a 35th Anniversary Edition. 1st registered on 1st November 2005 in Japan, Revs up to 7k before the red line, has the anniversary spec alloys, front bumper with chin spoiler, it's one of the available colours (Silverstone), has the Brembo's, two tone leather heated seats, other than that I've no idea how to tell?! Purchased from a garage so I wasn't about to tell him it might be a bit more special than the standard JDM Z. Regardless.....it's a beautiful drive and I love it. Currently still owning a JDM Toyota Starlet GT Turbo which unfortunately has to go to fun the wifes' new more economical car (whatever that my end up being) this is a huge step up in class for me. The GT Turbo is quick but the Z is effortless in it's acceleration. I'm so pleased with the purchase. I don't tend to post on forums very often, more so I tend to use the search function to find my answers for things so I'll probably not be posting much unless I can't find the answers so this is just a quick hello. Hopefully may be able to meet some of you at some point as well in the future. Thanks Si.
