  1. Quick update I have rebuilt the engine and she's good had a oil pressure issue, when it was reved above 3-3.5k it was sitting at 120 psi so I dropped the oil out in the weekend,

    An pulled the oil cooler an all off made sure the release valve was working and took the pressure sender out cleaned it out with tissue an she seams ok 5k and 90psi sat still.

    Having fun trying to bleed the clutch sounds as its just making contact with the bearing an making a nasty noise, :(

    An it grinds going to 3rd at 3k revs starting to think the box is naff :o more expense befor the final bits to finish her off

Right I've been fidleing, and it seams with the clutch pedel in the rest position, that it sounds like its just sitting on the clutch making a wining noise and when it's depressed to about 20 mm off the floor it' fully disengages, does anyone have any ideas as said befor brand new clutch kit new slave an flexi and now a new master

    An I'm still non the wiser

  3. Hi all, been trying to sort the clutch out, as it looses pressure and starts to grind the 3rd gear

    It's a brand new clutch, and now a brand new slave, flexi, an master but still not correct,

    The only thing I'm confused about is their is a hexaginal bit in the passenger wheel arch which is about 2inches long, where the pipe from the master joint to where the pipe goes towards the flexi,

    Could this be why I'm getting air/ loosing pressure?

    I'm running out of ideas and rapid

  4. Cold it sits at around 100psi, this is 10/40w oil, on a oem dial, but when warm and around 20/30psi if I rev it to around 3.5 k it goes to 120psi with no load on the engine

    Yeah I have been thinking of using a test unit to verify the oem gauges

    My import 02 plate, I've had a rebuild done as the rings were worn, and turntable out the bores are fine,

    But I still get 120psi, on the gauge, the oil is just below the full mark, I was just wondering if their is a different sensor in the jam cars for the Kpa dials than the psi,

  6. As above in need of one, as I have done the slave and the flexi line still shocking an wont work, correctly, sounds as if I'm getting air in it still, and will go through the box when the engine running only when the pedel has been pumped

    So if anyone has a good clutch master cylinder for the DE engine chuck me some prices
