  4. Feel for ya buddy, I know I'd be gutted if it happened to my pride and joy. But, as everyone has said, you're both ok and that's all that matters.

    Flywheels

If you do decide to change the flywheel, think about getting a lightened SM one, makes a massive difference to the driveability. Edit; plus they're a bit cheaper than DMF's

  12. I find his attitude quite repugnant
  13. I think if it's a bearing you'd need to have the car or at least the said wheel in the air. Without getting under the vehicle, grasp each wheel at the top and bottom and attempt to rock it. There should be minimal movement. Excessive play may indicate that the wheel bearing is worn. Then rotate the wheel, listen for any unusual noise and feel for any roughness as it rotates.
  14. If it remains with the clutch pressed, I'd suggest maybe a bearing issue. Could you tell where abouts the sound was emitting from, front? Rear?
  15. Oh yes... Have to stop myself from tasting it sometimes!
  16. Thank you. I used a Meguiars carnauba wax.

  18. In a "get what you pay for" sort of way. How is the build quality? Do you expect it to last? Quite fancy one at that price It's not too bad to be fair, it comes with a 3 year warranty so you've kinda got that safety net. I found rather than pushing down on the handles onto the surface, I just let the thing glide across the panel. Made it a lot easier to manoeuvre. And also keep the panel moist with a sprayer really helped...
  19. Just washed and machine polished mine today with my Lidl's special, using Meguiars ultimate compound.Gotta say it done an awesome job. Paint is silky smooth and seems to have a deep finish to it. Well chuffed
