  1. Well, I and Roxy have had a wonderful honeymoon period, every morning just before work, I give her the eye, sometimes running my hand over her lovely body before opening her up and slowly easing myself inside her, then with a twist of my hand I stir her into life and our journey begins, its been like this since I first met this oriental beauty but little did she know as I man handled her in the New Forest on our way to work, that this morning would be our last time together for a few days, I have to leave her now, on her own while I take a German, who been round the block far too many times to Rockingham. What I am to do without my Roxy (KT54RXY)
  2. well done mate, bloody lovely finish, not sure I would feel confident doing that on my Zed for fear of cutting through the paint.
  3. I purchased my 54 plate a few weeks ago, had a fraction over 36,000 miles on the clock with full history, a folder full of bills, inc a sales invoice from the previous year 2011 from Tony Gilbert Cars for over 11k, it's a GT spec car in silver with leather, Bose, heated seats, parking sensors, cruise etc etc and I paid 6.5k. HPI checked all ok.
  4. You must be driving the wheels off it the only get 20mpg or its tuned, mine is bog standard and I enjoy it as my daily driver, whether thats driving it like a grandad or a twenty year old. The seats are as comfortable as my old 330ci's, tyre noise and ride are dependent on road surface. I would say it's more a sports tourer than sports car, great for munching motorways. Good value for money though.
  5. I have a 72 mile round trip to work and back and then some other site and circuit visits, according to the onboard computer thingy, the best I have managed so far is 34.6mpg, how accurate this is, I have no idea but in comparison to my last daily driver which was a 330ci the Zed is worse, the payback though is the fun much more of it in the Zed against the ci.
  6. Am I the only one who saw that and thought "She's using a sponge! " Well if she keeps looking the other way, she's gonna miss some bits.
  7. Hi Callum Welcome along, I have only had my Zed for a couple of weeks but it is my daily driver and work horse, in the short time I have owned Roxy, I have done the best part of 2K miles in her from driving in London to open roads and hve been very pleased, for sure there are some down sides, rear three quarter vision is not that good, clutch is heavy in traffic, has a high biting point which can make me look like a plonker when pulling of sometimes, fuel mpg is ok given the size of engine, boot size is good enough for me, handling is enjoyable, roadholding is entertaining, brakes are up to the task. All in all I am over the moon with my purchase, its just what i was looking for, never had a jap car before and I was not expecting german build quality and yes I was right but at this moment in time I would not give Roxy up for anything. Anthony.
  8. A green one will be unusual, what shade? I use mine as my daily driver as it's all I have but it does make the trip through the New Forest just a bit more bearable each day, although I'm not sure how accurate the trip computer is, it's reading around the 32mpg mark.
  9. I could do the 7th but the 14th I'm at Zandvoort and 30th June got Norisring, although I may be able to skip that event.
  10. That was one I saw, just taken the dog for a walk down Hengisbury Head and was driving back when I spotted it parked.
  11. Already got my name down for that one buster, so long as it doesn't clash with any of my weekend events, been a while since I visited Swanage.
  12. Not far from me then, I'll keep an eye out for ya Jinxy Here's my Roxy
  13. There I am just gently stroking Roxy through an area known as Southbourne in Bournemouth, thinking how lucky I am to have a such a babe and how I often do not see another like her, when bugger me spotted a Silver JDM parked up in Southbourne Crossroads and then a Blue UK version in Pokesdown all in the space of 5 minutes.
  14. I'll be up for that, would need to check dates dont clash with any of my weekend events. 1. Buster 2. Keyser 3.Vansman 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  15. I have personally owned a few damaged repaired vehicles and they have all been fine, so long as the repair is carried out to a high standard and the car is checked and repaired on a vehicle jig, then no problems but the price has to reflect this, in my opinion that car is 2 grand too dear to make it worth your while in repairing it.
  16. My Roxy, just back from a trip to London so covered in dead insects. Taken with an ipad so not too good.
  17. You'll love it when you get it, my Roxy has been a joy, just cant stop smiling. Spent a long time searching for her and saw a lot of Zelda's, including a Stillen supercharged one in London but with no history and a HPI check not all clear, I wasn't going to part with 5,500 for that.
