There you go EDIT: Nope I found the old one to -
I'm guessing on the clutch but I have receipts for everything else it has ever had done, so have no reason for doubting it. Is there any way I can actually check this???? If the clutch had been changed you wouldn't hide it would you, you'd sing it from the rooftops!
-
174k Here Bought it on 172K had no problems so far...my history was impeccable and had 1 owner with full nissan service history. Oh, still on original clutch as well.

Brilliant, someone who I may spot and will respond!!!!!

I think the days of support 800x600 for webpages is drawing to an end, despite a resurgence in users on netbooks, even the basic china imports are starting to increase on resolution. Voted.

I must say that looks great and is barely used on 74K. Nice discount on the list price as well that will help towards the spark replacement. Admire the balls out approach on distance buying. Really hope it works out for you. What do you expect a cruising 70mph MPG to be? How are the massaging seats? Always wondered if it is a pleasant way to drive or a distraction

Haha , I was just playing around with autotrader late last night and trying to throw some rediculousness in to the equation. But remember The Maseratis would be worst on costs! Would be lovely though. I'm not keen on the Quatroporte, much prefer the slightly older gransport

Could you ever bring yourself to one of these 300c 6.1 srt8 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 465007676/ How about the big 5.0 hybrid lexus http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 477071379/ at the risk of being chastised for this A porsche cayenne 4.8 turbo http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 476651924/ moving down the powerband honda legend 3.5...surprised by how cheap these are http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 477178755/ Now I do have to mention this one...outside of the budget and can only seat 2 people but I haven't seen one for ages and I love it.... http://pistonheads.com/sales/3951937.htm

You're not kidding...it is bad enough when you are looking around any price but as you go up it is too hard. At 30K I would be stuck between allsorts: Jag 5.0 v8 xj.....i love it, and that body shape will look great for years http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 471506298/ or as the head over heart kicks in even the diesel version http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 467745417/ but then of course you hit the GTR.....it has 4 seats...perfect family car! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 476076826/ I suppose you could look at classic cars that wont lose value???? How about this as a daily drive? E-type 2+2 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 2409146309

Why are you posting an £8K, 250hp Alfa when the guy is looking at a £25K, 500hp BMW? I didnt even look at the link for the Giulietta, thats not even in the same postcode. because he said this: So I put a range of different cars from 25k down to 5.5k I think was the really cheapest, going for odities. I got carried away with the alfas granted, I have a soft spot for them.

some alternatives.... First a stupid one: Vauxhall VXR8 6.2 V8 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 7466210368 VW Phaeton 3.0 V6 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 8468536372 Jag XK 3.0 Convertible http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 3474456049 But If I was going cheaper I'd go straight to Alfa territory. 3.2 GT (I almost bought one of these instead of the Zed!) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 6476766554 Alfa 159 3.2gt http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 9469972372 Moving up the price bracket but still half your budget.... Giulietta http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 7467235176 Another phaeton but much cheaper http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 9469677026 All of the previous suggestions are great....I'd strongly consider the M5...or any 5 series for that matter. Must stop looking at cars!

Silver fairlady, coming away from highly svr station.

I agree the snout isn't for me, but I do quite like the sides, the rear I would like if it didn't have those two curves at the lowest point on the left and right corners....would be better if it didn't go lower thant the exhausts. I also like the offset number plate location. Is it me or is the snout a really bad colour match???
-
Spotted you parked as I walked back to my car. Nice looking from the back with a Nismo spoiler.
-
Yesterday ~5:20pm Heading towards Walsall , you were wearing shades so couldn't see if you spotted me. I was on the other side of the road.
-
Photos and car looks stunning. In addition to photo shopping the flash off the bumper, I would photoshop the dust off the front and rear tyres in the first couple of shots...I think it would improve them immensely. In fact I'd do it on all of the pics
-
at least it has the number plate included in the sale so you can be reminded about who did the work LCM Lousy Cheap Mechanic Can't debate the listing "looks stunning" .....well...quite
-
I can't work out if it is the bumper or the modded bonnet that is to blame....maybe both I reckon it has run into the back of something...seeing as all of the front is different Is it me or is the spoiler a different colour to the body????

I had a situation down a country lane once where I came round a bend to find an Astra in the middle of the road bombing towards me, I moved to the hedgeside in instinct and hit a kerb which went through both left sided wheels. had to get a low loader to pick my car up....I'd only had it a month and it was on my birthday! Happy Birthday to me. On the upside decided to go out and get wasted and met my future wife.... I contacted the council as I was annoyed that they had recently resurfaced to road and the oposite side was fine with new kerbs and that they hadn't bothered to put an 'up' kerb leading to the water point and wanted them to pay towards the replacement wheels. (I had had success with this when hitting a pothole that buckled a steel wheel on my very first car and they part paid for a replacement wheel and tyre) I got a short response basically saying that they were not taking responsibility and that the kerbstones were due to be replaced after some additional ground works. I knew I couldn't do anything with regards to being pushed to outside of the road as I didn't have any details of the other driver due to the pace of the astra. A traffic officer I knew back then advised me not to bother even if I did as it would just be one word against another and that insurance would just split costs at best and I'd lose no claims. (Which at 22 was mightily important to me). I was gutted but took the hit and picked up the wheels second hand costing me a total of £135. I wish you all the best with your case. At least you have proof and details. Does anyone work in the automotive industry?
ph 7 replied to twobears's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I work in IT for a 1st tier automotive supplier. Specialising in car access. -
Parked at the Seven Stars, couldn't see any details as it was out of the corner of my eye as I drove past
-
Parked next to the 53 plate Full nismo kit 350z, a black 10reg 370z roadster was on the same section of the car park
-
yep, that is why the small ones will do just fine...instant! The big ones are high enough resolution for printing posters....can't imagine anyone does though.
-
I'm now officially addicted to taking photos of the car. The big images are a pain though, they take about 15 mins to render. I'll stick to the small ones.
