  1. Me too, is it wrong to be excited about a box of samples?
  2. We have been watching unfold since 20:30. We were having an anniversary meal and suddenley spotted it in the background and just sat there in silence watching the screen. Came back home and haven't watched anything else. Can't believe it. Awful scenes but my hat goes off to the people reacting to the explosions by running towards them to get survivors. All heroes
  3. Plenty more fish in the sea
  4. Mine is up 20th May so I did a run through the comparison sites for a rough idea and got AXA in at 396 and Admiral at 415. That is for a 32 yr old plus wife. 11yr protected ncb, 7k per year. Currently with Elephant and that cost me 584 last year. Will be contacting Sky though as I get closer to see what they can do
  5. What do you do about the locking nut? Doesn't it look odd with 4 coloured ones and an odd locker? If black can you the colour the locking nut to match? Or am I missing a method?

    Spacers fitted!

Looks great. I must say that since fitting mine, I wouldn't go back. I had always been sceptical about how much difference it makes butting after seeing people with them at the meets you realise just how much better it looks. I keep looking at mine now and photos don't really do it justice. The problem is now that I look at every car I'm driving behind and think how much better they would look with spacers.
  7. Most people change the aerial over to an s2000 stubby or RDX aerial (can be bought from a couple of our traders here) as they think the original aerial makes the car look more like a dodgem due to the length. dodgem by p_h_7, on Flickr The bluetooth adapter refers to the steering wheel hansdfree system and is located in the storage compartment by the handbrake. There is a phone cradle in there which can be swaped out. The normal phone cradle is for old nokia phones so people like to put the universal bluetooth dongle in there. Due to the demand for bluetooth adapters it is usually one of the items pulled from a vehicle and sold sepeartely as they can go anywhere from £60-90 per unit.
  8. Well it has surely been looked after by an entusiast as the badges have been changed from Nissan to Z burgers. CS is bang on on the wheel info and it is missing the centre caps on the alloys as well. I would guess he sold the aeriel and put the orignal back on also. My money would be that there is no bluetooth dongle fit to it anymore either. Looks very tidy

Must have been owned by a dentist with a plate like that!
  10. How it has been cared for will be more important than just mileage. Look for the service history to be stunning on higher mileage. I'm at 179k. You are likely to consume a little more oil as the miles go up.
  11. Here is my crap effort at it!
  12. The Bling Ring just sounds like she's moved into porn. I second the Bellucci shout
  13. That is so much easier to read. Just need more peeps on there!
  14. Also forgot to mention on my trip to Worksop yesterday from M6 junction 10 through to the end of the roadworks/new traffic management I got to average 43.1mpg at an average speed of 54mph! That soon dropped though as from the m42 to the m1 there was a 458 italia that I was following. It sounded impressive under acceleration on the motorway and I just wanted to stare at it for a while, Tracy got a couple of pics while we followed it for 20 miles. It affected all the trafic it went past.... Funny watching a Passat taxi trying to race it! My mpg fell to 36 by the end of it but it was worth....gorgeous!
  15. Like the custom decals, nice job RT. Will you be tempted to wrap the speed cluster in carbon and the surrounds on the 3 readouts like you did the gear surround? I can see why you were so pleased with it.
  16. Yep, get a thread going Mark as I think your build is going to be a fantastic read. I will be following it.
  17. So today I fitted the hubcentric spacers 20mm front and 25mm rear, felt like my first proper mod. Test driven and all feels great In other news, I have agreed a price with Keyser for his 17" wheels. Another thing crossed off the list. So of course we have to have the obligatory before and after comments.
  18. I get more and more jealous every time I see your car!
  19. 2 of the most random issues I've ever seen! The worry is that with the hole in the window, a whole family of mice could move in!
  20. I've just been to Worksop and back. I could have popped through. Sorry!
  21. I always use it when I can. Average speed on the m6 is a doddle. I'd previously had it on other cars so was a must for me.
