There was a thread about this a few weeks back. There is definately a point to it. Plus, once you have the uprev license you only need to pay for minimal dyno/remapping time if you add further mods
-
Same day would be great but I'd imagine that would be a long day for some. What is the typical turn around time including dyno runs? Can't be short

Me and soldering go together like chalk and cheese! I'm guesssing I'll have to leave it for now. I suppose I will have my hand forced and need to look at it if either of the existing bulbs ever fail as I can't see an easy way of replacing the bulb. Thanks for the offer of the the refund but I'll hold onto them just in case I take a brave pill!

Well my car is defo UK as I have the original invoice. It just goes to show the issues manufacturers face, no doubt they had supply/quality issues and had to substitute it out on the production lines. I'm guessing there wont be a solution to my setup then ....

Perhaps there was a revision change as mine is an 04 gt. The fixing looks perfectly oem. I'll take a couple of other pics. Anyone else have this fixing?

"Has anyone else ever done this, or am I the only loser" Have you seen my sig? I'm in your territory

Just don't do it again otherwise you'll have done it twice....

I was thinking about doing this as well when I have them fit to the car and sprayed. Depends on cost I suppose but I will be enquiring.

Check your sub hasn't got a loose connection on the amp. Easy DIY fix if it has. See the guides. The sub is weak on radio broadcasts but CDs sound ok.

I recently fitted an original nismo bodykit and my insurance went up £80.

Doh! I never spotted in board mobile in the list. Cheers!

Well the latest software update has solved the hands free issue So if someone can tell me how to access the mobile version of this site then that would be superb!

I know that blackberry have lost market share but I can't be the only user!

I also have a powerflow on mine. It was on it already though and cost circa 900 as I have the receipts for it. I love the sound of it but I haven't been in a car with any of the others on to give a rating. Mine is nicely loud for me. Wouldn't want anything louder. I'm in the west mids if you want to listen but I doubt mine would sound the same as your custom either ??? I may be able to do a vid for you but even that will be subjective due do the mic on my phone and the speakers on your computer.

Our company have just switched from iPhone 5's to blackberry z10's and at first I enjoyed the novelty but now I have two issues. 1) I can pair it to my blue tooth kit but cannot make calls as it loses pairing connection. I can manually start the connection and successfully start a call using my voice commands but the it will drop the connection. Makes it quite useless as a hands free kit. Has anyone managed to get it to work? Considering it is the universal Nissan dongle i'm gutted it is not working. 2) the browser on this phone does not see the mobile version of this website. On my iPhone I can switch between full version and mobile version on the bottom of the screen. All I can see on this is a link to change the theme. Is there an easy way to get this viewing the mobile site easily? For the record though, how awesome is the change theme button?? 18months Of being here and now I have my own car at the top

We should make an agreement to not outbid each other on eBay. I've just sourced some for the rears and now I'm on the look out for fronts. I'm on the prowl for Michelin pilot alpin. The rears arrived today and look superb.

Ahh mine aren't facelift either, sorry bud

I have two front bumpers in azure but they would both need prep and spray anyway. To be honest I'd factor in a spray anyway. The odds of nissan spraying two bumpers the same shade of gunmetal will be slim!

I'm at the German market the day before on the lash. I don't know if these old bones can do a double header! You can almost certainly stick Tracy and I down. I'll confirm it later. Just a thought about the structure of the day, and this is entirely self serving so I apologise in advance. I'm assuming there will be a lot of cars turning up of interest to people, would it be worth doing the event in two stages? Similar to the cosford event, a midday meet somewhere beforehand allowing people to meet and greet before the evening and allow the local west mids guys and gals to bring their cars. That way the people who have travelled far can pop round the markets or park their cars at hotels while people like myself can drop their cars back home before travelling back in by taxi/metro etc. as a local I wouldn't be staying in the city so wouldn't have my car normally. Obviously this is made on the assumption that everyone one is travelling down in their zeds. It would be a shame to have so many in the area and not get them together. If I've misread the idea and there aren't a lot of cars coming down/up/sideways into the area and it is more just the social side then ignore this babbling on.

Can somebody ban David coulthard from saying "unquestionably" at the start of every sentence.
-
perhaps he was selling the half price mattresses from the back of the zed....

He'd be better to change all of his tyres though. @*!# grip all round would at least be consistent the sale of his michelins could fund part of it. It would make for an interesting review though. The blurb on the tyre traders website is compelling (I love a good chart). Found this on an Evo forum and it is subsequently found to be bollox and repeated on other sites. How can you trust them? "After checking some more recent reviews from people that had actually driven on them & speaking to the distributors (Tyretraders, who offered me a great deal) I decided to give them a try. THEY’RE GREAT! I do about 70 miles a day 50 motorway & 20 country roads. Motorway they are super quiet & as for country roads (as me old mate Julia used to say) she drives like she’s on rails. I do admit that if pushed they feel like they are going to break away but they don’t, even in the wet they are superb. The 2010 Auto Bild tests gave them a poor rating, however Syron obviously took note & amended the recipe as the 2011 tests are a vast improvement & they now rate along with many other premium brands. I am disappointed that people that have not tried a product are so quick to dismiss them. It’s a wonder that we are not still living in caves & pulling carts with square wheels. Never in the history of mankind has so little been known by so many about so much. "
