    Jag F-Type

Test drove a V6 S 5 weeks ago when my old man was picking up his XF. Beautiful car to look at, be in and drive. Should make a great 2nd hand buy if its like any other Jag for depreciation!!
  5. Thanks ilogikal1. I'll sleep on it.
  6. That's a good price! I'll consider it. Was looking at the ones withe the side and D shaped handles as they look a little easier to us than the standard das-6.
  7. Is this the same as the power plus? Looks exactly the same apart from colour obviously! http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/kestrel-das6-power-plus-dual-action-machine-polisher-cat10.html
  8. As title says I'm looking to get a DA. Nothing fancy so meguires or kestrel etc. What do you guys recomend and where's best to buy? Any recommended pads and polishes to accompany it for a midnight blue would be appreciated.
  9. Actually I just answered my own question If it helps at all mate which I doubt it will, I stopped by your car last Thursday to admire your wheels as I was driving down your street. There was definately no scratch marks on it at that point. Looks to me like some drunken knobs. I used to stay in Watson street and on more than one occasion I caught some 18+ drunken arseholes walking down the street kicking off wing mirrors and booting in doors for nothing more than drunken fun! Must have been Thursday night it happened then, cos I got back on Friday. Just gotten round to sorting everything now. There's no CCTV anyway, so it doesn't really help! Not sure whether to put the car in to get done when I go away this time, or leave it a while. Would be gutted if it just happened again straight away. Would have been better off leaving it at my Dad's house in Shedz! What is it you're driving? Maybe a wise move leaving it a trip or so. I've got a midnight blue HR with factory fitted nismo kit and LMGT4s. Was liking the colour of your wheels as I was considering bronze when I get the refurb done. Interesting, haven't seen you about before. Will keep an eye out. Well, car is going to my dad's mate next time I'm away. Will probably keep it up at my Dad's for a while after. Will post up photos when it's done. It doesn't come out to play enough. Only done 17k since new on a 57 plate. I keep it at my folks when I'm offshore as I don't have room for two cars on my drive yet. It'll be about a fair bit next week!

    LMGT4 Refurb

In the same boat with my lmgt4s wasn't sure whether or not to change colour or stick with original and if original then diamond cut or just powder coat. Still not sure. Going to speak to wheel specialist in Dyce in a few days to see what the costs will be.
  14. Yeah. But, for me, that makes sense as i pretty much hate all audis exept the R8. The advert is the same Even the UR Quattro or the RS2 or even RS4? That has to be one of the best car adverts ever, can't think of a better one at the moment!
  15. Plenty of grip but horrible chassis balance and handling. Also i find the ride in them pretty terrible. I can see why people like them as they have decent interiors and strong engines, not forgetting the all important audi status. But i wouldn't recommend one to the OP if he wants something fun. Have to agree. I've just px'd my a3 s line sportback Which I had for 4 years and although that's the longest I've kept a car for overall I was disappointed after coming from the fabia vrs. The s line ride is crashy and the car never came anywhere close to being entertaining. Although there were good levels of grip, none of it could be felt through the steering wheel. The fabia was overall a better car in my opinion and even though engines etc are shared with Audi servicing costs were far cheaper! You could get a good VRS for 5.5k

    MPSS?

Got some reasonably good news. Thought camskills were going to work out cheapest @ £1013 delivered the I would have been £50-60 for fitting but the garage my car going into for MOT can supply and fit for an agreed £1000 so pretty pleased with that. They're also fitting my berks HFC's and Takeda dual induction kit which were supplied by Tarmac for a very reasonable price at the same time. Happy days These tyres are a chew to get in these sizes and the garage my cars at have done very well to secure both fronts and rears considering Michelin europe are quoting June delivery for the fronts at the moment :/
  17. I bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxiscan-Diagnostic-Scanner-Reader-MS300/dp/B001LHVOVK/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1369210595&sr=1-1&keywords=Maxiscan+obd2 Works perfectly well on mine

    MPSS?

It's worth a stab. I've contacted him to see if he could quote with delivery. Looks like camskills is going to work out the cheapest though at roughly a grand delivered

    Was that 18" or 19"
  21. Comes down to the badge but I used to have a fabia vrs which has the same engine as the leon fr but different turbo and air intake pipe. It was a fun, reliable and fuel efficient car. If you can stomach the badge I'd go for one of these every time over the Leon. Get a good low mileage 2006 plate for 6k and spend a couple on hybrid and coils etc and you have a reliable 200hp which'll still return 40mpg, cheap tax and insurance!
