  1. Got mine, looks good. Got the No: 9 wax with a yellow dot on underside. Wax is fine with no separation, smells good too!
  2. HELLLOOOO! That looks sweet!
  3. Welcome to the forum. You can never go wrong with a yellow GT4
  4. Cheers guys, you always feel ten times better when your driving a clean car eh! I'll see if I can get some more pics IF the sun comes out in the next few days.
  5. Cheers guys, just need to get the wheels refurbished as they're not in great nic!
  6. Congratulations. I have a 10 week old daughter, it's the best feeling in the world being a father. I now live in fear of the above mentioned day as although my wife was also ok with me keeping the zed I know that as much as I love my car she's gonna have to go sometime in the near'ish future. My aim though is to get my daughter hooked on cars as much as i am so that when she's old enough I can share my other love with her. I've already got her watching formula 1 with me and seems to like the noise of a V6
  7. After heading out to see the guys at Polished Bliss in Kintore for some advice on products to use on the night blue paint I set about giving her a good clean. For anyone not aware of Polished Bliss check out they're website http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/ these guys seriously know what they're doing! So without going into a huge write up here are the results: It was a little cloudy after I'd finished and pics are from iPhone so not the best but I'm fairly pleased with the results considering it was all done by hand. Paint is in pretty good condition anyway so not yet tempted to buy a DA. Products used as follows: Snowfoam: Meguiars Hyper wash De-tar: Auto finesse obliTARate Shampoo: Meguiars gold class Clay: Meguiars smooth surface clay kit Glaze: poorboys black hole Wax: poorboys Natty's paste wax Wheels: wonder wheels hot wheels Have to say although I am no expert when it comes to car cleaning the 350z is a pretty easy car to clean compared to some cars I've had. Also my first stab at claying which I was slightly apprehensive about doing I case I marked the car but turns out its a piece of cake too.

    LMGT4 Refurb

Guys need your opinions on lmgt4 refurb. Just been out to wheel specialist in Dyce, Aberdeen. They are quoting £380 for full tyres off, strip, powdercoat and balance and application of nismo stickers again. They are advising not to go down the polished lip route as they say its not worth the hassle of the high maintenance required especially in these parts apparently with the sea air and bad winters. My question is, how much maintenance would they need as they are saying my wheels would need a polish every six months regardless of wheel waxes etc. I really want them to look as close to factory finish as possible so would a good powdercoat Finnish be far off?
  12. The bilt hamber clay, which do you use soft or medium?
  13. Ordered again. Third month in a row. This one will make my mind up whether or not to continue with it.
  14. Apologies for posting the pics mate, hope your ok with that. Did a search and found they were SF winnings. Have to say your zed is by far my favourite on the forum and looks the mutts nuts in the flesh. The body shop you use down there, how's there prices as the wife's parents live just up in Holytown so it may be handy for getting bits done when I'm down there!
  15. Great that's all I need, yet another top notch site where I can spend many a pound on my pride & joy. Top work Chris, looks great!

  19. Old ladys mk1 mini cooper had this and as already said it was the thermostat in the end although it took four attempts at the same garage to find this out. As you say there was no visible leak/drips.
