I have berks HFC's. I hate rasp aswell however I hear none on the zed & am more than happy with them. Plan to add an invidia to that real soon when funds allow.

Just like to say a massive thanks to Chris for his post sales customer service. I bought a takeda short ram kit amongst other things from him last year and had them fitted at M.O.T time by a garage I've used in the past. Unfortunately when istalling the short rams they over tightened the jubilee clips which resulted in the intake hose being cut into over time. Chris has went over & above & has managed to get Takeda themselves to supply a spare hose as a good will, even though they came back straight away and said it was a fitment issue after seing the pics. Chris even shipped the hose to me F.O.C. Cant ask for more than that! Thanks again Chris

My takeda dual ram intakes came with the car ;) I went for berks HFC's as I told the wife I wouldn't touch this one. She can't see them and she doesn't notice the difference. She may when I get the new exhaust tho but its a must do mod!

A.J Ross in Ashley lane. Used them for several cars over the years. Not the cheapest for labour but very honest, family run and lots of experience.

Sounds like a good idea. May well try one myself. I would imagine you would only use this on clean, recently flayed paintwork. Don't think I'd risk it on a car that's been through a winter without a good detail first.

But he has had it for sale for quite a while now & must know he's overpricing it based on colour combo etc. Given the bonus of the milltek etc I'd say a grand less would be fair if its as clean as it looks.

Which kit you asking about, the Takeda? Yes if you are. You can also choose between a polished intake pipe or a black one which looks a little more OEM. Mine also came with heat shields but I have the HR engine with twin intakes so not sure if this is the case for the DE. You'd need to ask Tarmac.

As above. If its power increase your after then forget it. You may gain a few HP but you'll never notice it. If its bling then There are better looking and less expensive variants with as good a build quality. Noise wise I hear the JWT pop is a good'un. I personally have the takeda supplied by Tarmac & have to say its a good piece of kit for the money. Looks good, sounds good, fits well and the cone filter itself is maintenance free unlike other filters which need cleaning/oiling regularly.

It's been doing the rounds on Facebook. That stretch of road is notorious for car accidents. They should lock him up & throw away the key! Apparently he tried to head butt one of the police officers too once he had been stopped. Not sure what kind of car it was that was following him but the had to give it some beans to keep up with him when he opened the taps!
