    I need a 4x4!!

Or how about a Nissan x-trail. Not good looking but supposedly pretty competent when it comes to off roading

+1 for a mk1 focus and some winter tyres if required. They are very good in snow even on summer tyres. Lot less to go wrong to and cheap for parts

    what new car?

For a budget of 10-15k your not going to get an R8 or a GT3. How about an M5 or a vxr8? Not sure what either would be like for insurance and neither is going to be as cheap to run as your zed.
  4. WOW thats cheap. If it's someone on here then i'm sure they'll be along real soon to gloat
  5. So far so good. Those wheels really suit the car
  6. There's a lot more to the zed than a 0-60 time!
  7. Just be careful with the products the car was places use usually their wheel cleaner are pretty corrosive.
  8. Never never never ever ever use one. Especialy on soft zed paint, it's really not worth it.
  9. Think abbey said they seen best gains after remap with stock filter housing and uprated panel filters but no idea what difference there would be between Nissan stock panned filters and the likes of HKS or cosworth!

    BMW M6 V10

A friend of mine recently sold his v10 m5 for the new v8. In the time he had it he averaged 17mpg mixed town & motorway driving.
  13. P1 was just amazing but surprised no one has really mentioned the Alfa 4C. Ok so I wouldn't pay 45k for one but in a few years as a second hand buy! Looked fantastic side on and from the rear. Front looked good but still not entirely convinced on those lights.

    BMW M6 V10

Great write up. Bargain of a car ATM along with M5's although eye wateringly expensive if anything goes wrong with that engine. HUD is a great toy too. Have it on my X3 & although its not something I would have originally specced with the car I have to say its probably one of my favourites now & would spec it in any future BMW.
  15. Looks great. Had a laugh reading what you wrote. Worth it for the end result though. Brave man
  16. Would some uprated ARB's, bushes & say maybe Tein towering springs (14mm-17mm) not be a better option than coilovers? I'm no expert but surely unless your keeping it standard height or within that lowering limit of 30mm for the geo set up etc then its a bit pointless without spending a good whack more cash.
  17. Any idea if its the same system DE to HR?
