Cheers. Home from 15th July to 5th august then 19th august to 9th september. Others may be in the same situation as me.

Don't wimp out stick with it and let the polish break down ie make enough passes on one manageable area at a time for the compound to do its thing.

Went for 6 weeks with the now wife when we were 21 & used mostly visa but with a few hundred ponds worth in cash. It's a safe place as long as you keep your head straight. As said never say its your first time and if someone starts talking to them randomly in the street other than outside lookie lookie bars it'll be to fleece them one way or another but its honestly no worse than going to Vegas or benidorm as long as your sensible.

One thing to keep in mind is resale potential. I did a vote a while back on the milltek vs invidia. The invidia came out on top for several reasons including build quality, sound minus drone & fit. If you sell your car on any time soon then for me the invidia is a no brained as there is a big market for a used one (not seen one yet for sale yet). I plan to get an Invidia although I have not committed yet for various reason. As said lots of dealers on here stock invidia. Give Clark Motorsport a shout too if you go down this route.

Don't shoot me but vauxhall have a metalic sort of grey/blue/bronce flip on their current cars which I keep thinking would look good on a zed every time I see it

Yep your right. Mine feels every so slightly lumpy on tickover & has a hesitation ever since I fetter the berks HFC's. a remap will sort this out. This was confirmed from Mark @ Abbey. It won't damage the engine in any way so if you can live with it until you decide to do the remap then it should cause no problems.

Look great. I take it they were diamond cut or is that a chrome Finnish on the lip? Where did you get them done?
