It's going to be very very close by the looks of it. I know what im voting but will not be unhappy or angry if it doesnt go the way I hope. It's intersting what some are saying about farmers etc in general are a definite no, thats not the case. I've driven the Aberdeen to Edinburgh & glasgow road several times over the last month or so & can honestly say that going by signage alone in farmers field it is so close to 50/50 that unless i counted i couldnt tell either way. I can also say that the majority of farmers around the north east seem to be a yes but again thats only going by signs in fields. I have also seen as many defaced yes signs as no's up my way which is a shame regardless as we really should be respecting each others views & alowing each other to express those views respectfully. Regardless of the outcome i think for a lot of people & not just the Scots this referendum has opened up many peoples eyes including my own & has compelled me to seek my own understanding behind the blury political nonesense that we have been subjected to day in day out for what seems an entirity now. I have actively reasearched the pros & cons of which there are to many to mention for both & have wrestled with these in order to come to a decision which i now feel happy with knowing i have a better understanding. There are so many unknowns, what if's etc & there is noone on this planet can project for sure what will happen if it is a yes or a no vote. Just because Paul Krugman said we scots should all be very affraid of a yes does not mean he is right & that our economy is going to implode nor does it mean that getting to use & keep the pound means everything will be just swell. All i hope for is that the majority of voters have done like i have & actually done their own research, unfortunately i fear this is not the case & think that if the polls are anywhere near right then this will be the reason why it is so close to 50/50. We will find out in due course.
