  1. I was so chuffed to have a working window I just had to get a video
  2. It'd have to be supercharged if I actually do it one day
  3. Passenger side window motor from my 54 plate Currently doesn't work 100%, works half the time but always works if you bash it through the doorcard so perfect for someone to take apart and give it a good clean to get it working, there's a tutorial on here somewhere of how to do that £40 picked up from Sutton, Surrey or £50 delivered
  4. Passenger side window rails for anyone that needs a replacement? £20 picked up from Sutton, Surrey or £30 delivered
  5. Simply swapped the motor over in the end, cheers for providing it
  6. Difference between the LS1/2 and the LSA Ian?
  7. I've been looking into this for about 6 months, and the few companies that I've asked all seem to say the same thing along the lines of: "Problems with LHD engine and gearbox into a RHD are the limiting factors, which I don't think anyone in the UK has overcome yet" I'm so tempted to do it, but won't be for a while yet
  8. A fun day of electronics today! Finally, after 6 months, I've fixed my passenger side window And did Buster's stereo mod today of chopping the phono cables to hard wire them into the RCA block. Instead of having the volume on 20 to hear anything, I can now only put it up to 5 before it distorts an excuse to upgrade the speakers and amps I think
  9. Few pics from Graffiti Tunnel tonight Just a little bit low And a pic of the new spoiler which turned up today, needs to be sprayed and fitted Before: After:
  10. Picture of how close the mid pipe is to the floor
  11. Just filled up a tank with it. Same price as normal v power, think its replacing it as the only option is now regular or v power nitro+ Leaflet in the store confirms its 99RON bit with 25% more cleaning stuff in it Nothing to get excited about
  12. Got any pics Shaun? If the lenses are the same and in decent condition, I might be tempted

  14. Everyone on the train is looking at me funny because I'm laughing so much !!!
  15. Keep our new found love a secret, BBK gets jealous...
  16. I knew you'd say that on the lookout for 20mm spacers for the rear now!!!
  17. Took mine off the car only Wednesday and they're GM The drivers side has a slight scuff from a kerb bit you cant see it once fitted
  18. Bumps will be taken slowly and with a grimace on my face Still tempted to take the rear adjusters out with some more poke and camber Not rubbing as of yet!
  19. So yesterday I started on my list of things to sort before Japfest Didn't get as far as I wanted to due to spending some time on stiff bolts, but some good progress nevertheless Started off with the big job 1st, changing out the rear wheel nuts so I could use my new spacers on the rear. Obviously jack the car up and take the wheel off 1st Remove the 2 x 19mm bolts holding the rear caliper in place, these may be a bit stiff so a good douse of WD40, as long a wrench as you can get on it and some elbow grease will get them shifted Once the caliper is off, rest it on the suspension assembly in the wheel arch, being careful not to bend the brake line too much You'll then have to take the brake disc off. This does just simply come off, with a bit of force! A rubber mallet did the job for me Then it's time to hammer out the old bolts And compare against the new ones Once all five are out, you've got to work out the best place where there's a gap in the hub to put the longer bolts into before putting them through the holes. I could only manage to fit 4 before they were catching on the handbrake springs when spinning it round due to the backs still sticking out a little So the next step is to refit the brake disc with the 4 studs in place, and use STEEL wheel nuts to pull the bolts into place on the hub: By tightening the nut on the bolt, it will pull the head of the bolt snugly into place. Once all 4 are done, you can then remove the brake disc and do the same with the 5th as you'll be able to turn the hub without the other bolt heads catching You're then left with a hub with 5 longer bolts, simply refit the brake disc, refit the caliper and tighten the bolts, put the spacer on and refit the wheel 10mm wider on the rear, might want a bit more... Next job was to lower the rear, wasn't happy with it sitting up in the air How she sits now: Not much arch gap left!!! Car feels a lot more planted with the rear on the floor and spaced out slightly as well, love it Removed the rear splash guards as well as they kept catching on things Wanted to take the fronts off but need to get some pliers on a couple of the screws that are rusted in place Rear drop links wouldn't budge, need to get Kaizer Motors to take a look I think All the other bits will be attempted at the weekend
  20. Nice colour match on the rear arch....
