  1. Could you not just extract them and save them externally ?? I've got 7 years worth in my Outlook.
  2. Meh, I did a 540 coming out of Eau Rouge, those red and white barriers made me think I was in Wonka Land, round and round, until the Marshall's brought me round with their flags, at what felt like a mile down the Kessel Straight .

    Wee Photoshoot

Nice and smooth, great looking car. Great pics, thanks for sharing .
  4. In a sensible word - no. Standard car maps are created so that they met certain efficiency ratings and EU regulations regards fuel and emissions, sometimes at the detriment of power and delivery. They also make the car easier to sit at national set speed limits, such as 30, 50 & 70. When the car is sitting at 30 it will have a smoother, less aggressive fuelling ratio, so it's more comfortable and can maintain the accurate speed better, less edgy and gear to set off if you like. By adjusting the fuelling for consistent power delivery and smooth out the 'flat spots' in the rev range you will achieve a much smother, progressive, steady power curve up the rev range. As long as the fuelling is adjusted to the capabilities of the engine, it'll be fine.
  5. F-LOL, get ready for the hate towards the "off black colour" remark .
  6. Ha, small world this car community isn't it !! Good harmless fun these companies aren't they ? UKDM is just one guy, from his desk, spilling his mind onto FB, stickers and shirts. They're all nutters .
  7. Those guys are cool, my mate is well in with them as he has a similar scene company UKDM Hates You.
  8. Great place and great race, love Le Mans, we were going to go this year but it all sort of fell apart, I'm moving and a few of the other lads have a few life commitments too. We stayed at ValAlan Camp site, which was next to the circuit airport, not sure what its really called. I went in 2009 - I'm in the Nike shirt, enjoy guys, much jealous.
  9. Yeah man, I get the drift, it's cool - I just thought I'd add some (what I thought was relevant) flavour to the topic is all, my bad.
  10. Currently in the middle of moving, it's costing me a fortune and I'm not even buying !!! Plus side is, I now have a 3 car drive and a nice big garage !!!!!
  11. Not sure how old you guys are but I just turned 30 and Radio 1 is pony. Been listening to Radio 2 now for a long time, much better, all bar Jeramy Vine, that guy is a giant d1ck.
  12. So I've spotted you a few times now, on the slip off the A127 into Wickford a few days ago and in the BP station next to the Dirty Digger on Jubilee Way a few days before. You'd not notice me though as I was in a Fiesta with the Mrs, my 370 is locked up at home for menial tasks . Anyway, if you see a random 30YO looking at you, sort of seductively smiling at you, it's because you have the same brand car as me but a older version, thats all - lol. Hi.
  13. I saved up, bought the car, owned the car for over a year, have driven it across Europe a few times and have tracked it a number of times too. I was simply suggesting a few things that bug me about it in the hope that apart from the usual things about 370's that come up in every other thread there might be some live with issues for the OP to consider, I'm sure he's smart enough to realise that some of these are personal issues. It's not an invitation to defend everything about the car that I don't like, it's not going to convince me - Don't be offend by that please, FFS. I know it's not a lightweight sports car, I bought a 370Z GT. Also, worth pointing out, that I didn't come from a 350Z either, I came from a S2000. That change of the AC light is fantastic BTW, I didn't know they'd changed that, much needed and delivered I feel. I'm gunna get that thing out of the boot lid and show you, I recon it's the size of an iPhone, or at least it sounds that big when its on the move. Overall, I think I was more happier, or had less niggles with my S2000, however, I suspect that is down to the fact that my S2000 almost cost me quarter of my 370Z so I will naturally look at it differently. I'm still happy with the car though and wouldn't have bought anything else, as I feel it ticked and still does, the majority of boxes for me.
  14. Fiesta looks smart man, I like it. Welcome along .
  15. I have the exact same system but for my 370Z, also from Tarmac, who in turn was superb to deal with all the way through from my procrastination to delivery and aftercare interest. It really is a great system in a number of ways. Not sure how long you've had it for but wait until it beds in and cokes up it sounds fantastic !!

If you buy a Ralph Lauren Polo @*!# it's probably not because you play polo or want to play polo, it will be to keep warm or hide your modesty. Or because it looks smart and may get you noticed more. Whats wrong with that ?
  17. Odd, you seemed to have had the same/similar issue here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79336-oil-exhaust-smell/
  18. After all that has been mentioned above, my main bugs are; AC light is in a stupid hidden location under the adjustment knob, so for a quick glance I have to slide down the seat a touch and look under the knob, very annoying. Indicators are too quiet and that was before I had the ARK fitted, now their non existent. A pillars are massive. I sometimes open the centre console with my elbow. I get 6MPG on track. Something is loose in the boot lid, probably a weight or something and it fly's about when on track, as soon as you pull off a circuit it vanishes - completely. You can't fit wind deflectors to the doors as they're pillar-less, besides the initial aesthetic bonus these would actually stop water coming in when you open the window an inch after its rained. On occasion, for no apparent reason at all, it smells of burnt rubber or hot coolant pipes, this is un prompted too, so if I was 'making progress' and it smelt hot then I would understand but this just sort of happens then as soon as it arrived, it's gone. Seats could be more supportive, large lumbers would be nice, they seem to just be half and half I feel at the moment. Half sport half budget Ford KA.
  19. Bare footed driving is fantastic, you get much better throttle control, or rather, it's easier to achieve better throttle control. I've got a pair of Nike running shoes for track days to help with that, their not perfect but their much better than my Reebok Pumps and I'm not getting those gheyboy Sparco shoes, I'm not a racing driver.
  20. Good spot. I'm going for understeer into a curb, then eventual pivot and rear damage. "Heavy Car !"
  21. Murlok decks, lol. There is a element of P2W in there but it still requires a decent amount of luck and skill. My mate watches all the pro matches on YouTube, ManaDrain and DogeHouse I think the teams he watches are and they always joke about HS is P2W, when in these guys cases it certainly isn't.
  22. Ha ha, no, no, I'm just taking the micky, as a lot of people complain that HS is a P2W game .
