  1. Do you still think it's a PR stunt ?? Well, I dunno, looks like a single driver there with a helmet on. So yeah, I suppose I am. Seems fishy.
  2. Regardless of what you think about the Nismo in comparison to the OEM car, that is a statement of pure joy, that I'm sure would bring a smile to most faces . I just ordered a Nismo, lol, quality.
  3. Any press is good press. VW don't look bad, just the guy who drove it.
  4. I was told it was turbo'd once in Tesco. That's pretty offensive I suppose.
  5. You'll love the air-bag baby seat stuff under the visor then.
  6. Dont think sooo. A lot of people are upset about it.. . Also caused a Red Flag with 20 mins of the race to run. :scare: No, I know, I was joking. There would have been loads of VW's around the pit lanes and such . Makes you think though.......
  7. PR stunt. Wasn't it a VW race and they just happened to drive on with a brand new Polo ??
  8. I can't find any fault with mine at all, love it, massively. I have the first sat nav model, which does have an awful 3.5mm audio in jack for your iPod/iPhone but you lose so much quality through it, I refuse to use it. If given the choice go for the Connect Premium sat nav with the post code and touch screen, I'd imagine that ones audio in to be a million times better.
  9. Better - 106 GTi, I knew they were fun but not that much. Worse - Clio V6, just........ meh .
  10. Agreed. Or they've driven a DCT system and have too high an expectation now .
  11. stop changing at 6000rpm then My S2000 used to redline at 9200rpm, made good solid power at the top too, only really started to get moving at 7000rpm. Niiiiiiice and smooth .

    Naughty Nissan

Not gone well for you has it, .
  13. The looks are a little garish for me but I still think it looks cool. Yes, the new lump is a interesting one, redlines at 7000rpm though . It's at Spa on the 22nd-26th June doing laps, not sure if it's testing or a publicity thing. Have you heard it yet ??
  14. Probably been taken out now, but the clip will still be there. It should be in the passenger footwell somewhere.
  15. Regards extra costs of imported cars, there are a few plus's and negatives. Firstly, as the 350 is a world seller parts will be easy to source as opposed to getting something that was only sold in Japan. If per say you needed a new rear window, you'd have to import it from Japan but as the 350Z is everywhere that will not be a problem. Insurance will be group 20 straight off the bat as it's imported. Simple. The car may not be under-sealed, do this ASAP as the salt and general muck we have over here will eat the car out from the underside out. That sounds lush. You will also need to make sure the car has been converted to run on UK roads, most import company's will do this for you but you will need a rear fog light and have the speedometer converted also. Check this as some do slip the net. Take the flare out of the footwell, they're illegal over here to keep in there. There's probably some more too but thats all I can remember off the top of my head, I owned a JDM variant S2000 for three years and it was fine.
  16. Yeah, cool man, go for it . Track days aren't that bad, just drive it sensibly, you don't have to be the quickest out there to have fun, I'm far from quick but I have a good time. One of my mates has got his laps down to .56s at Brands now in his Boxster S. Lets hope I don't end up in there too . Yep, same here. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new CTR will be like.
  17. The Halo news at E3. YES That is all.
  18. Wonderful, awesome stuff. This is by far the best version of the Ring I've ever seen on a computer, its soooo good and is the closest representation to actually driving it I've ever felt. They've nailed it, you really get a sense of how closed in you are when you go round it, it 'feels' claustrophobic. Foxhole could be a little steeper but as Ekona said, you do really get the feeling of the relief of the circuit on this much better than anything else I've tried. The tress and scenery are insanely good, like excellent stuff. I had a few laps with the lads last night and managed to put a clean lap down in my '97 Civic of 8:29.8 Then, my next lap was a flyer and I was up a good 10 seconds until the very last harsh right after the flat out bends at the end of the straight, yakking away and I binned it . Managed to set a quicker time but it was dirty so don't count. Loads of time to claw back on that but it's a start. Forza has had a brand new lease of life brought back into it !!

    I can confirm

Cool. I was worried about that.
  20. Sorry mate, not sure if you’re asking me that as a question, or you meant it as a rhetorical question. I’ll answer it as if asked anyway. No, its not. Or rather it doesn’t appear to be anyway. Like I said, when I notice it I panic, then sharpen up a bit in my seat and try it again to only get it bang on – sometimes. I’d not be surprised if the clutch on mine wasn’t releasing properly from 2nd to 3rd at high revs which then in turn causes the slip by me getting on the power too soon for the clutch to release fully.
  21. I get this, mainly between 2nd to 3rd, I think, it's down to my unskilled changes on this gearbox that I'm still finding hard to get used too. I think it's a combo of the floor mounted accelerator pedal and the gearbox for me, so when I'm lazily pressing on and go for a quick blast I miss time the change and end up getting on the power too soon, thus releasing the clutch too soon and slipping. When I'm on track this is never an issue as I'm sitting correctly and concentrating, which makes me think its a driver issue rather than the clutch. Just an idea for you.
  22. Nice man, looking very good !! Are you happy with it regards fitment and quality ?? How much does it effect clearance ??
