  1. if theyre not on here its their own fault . Do you live in rosyth? have you heard about the recent car meets there?
  2. the chargespeed back bumper is the nicest ive seen imo. looks so
  3. Great info, i have read the rev up's have stronger rods, or will this not really matter around the 400hp mark Im not sure about the rods etc, hopefully someone on here knows. I read on a yank website there was a guy running over 500hp with stock fueling and internals!! probably not running anymore though
  4. Has anyone not had issues with fitting the k1?
  5. The hr is a stronger engine and you can get more power out it safely but the de engine can run circa 400hp safely
  6. The non revup has a 6 speed aswell and as far as i know the difference between the revup and non revup is the lower collector on the intake manifold and a slightly different airbox. Id recomend a gt model as it has the brembo brakes aswel as more kit inside
  7. Jelous as hell. Id want the ferrari or lambo but id still be fine with the aston lol
  8. Think itl take about 2 hours from glasgow. Im sure it takes me bout an hour and 15 mins from just outside alloa. We can be the wee fannies lol
  9. For the protection of the wheels i use smartwax rimwax. Brings the wheels up realy nice and helps with brakedust build up as it cant stick to it as much. And what dust does stick to it washes off easily
  10. Whoever sold it to him must of had the gift of the gab. I bet he feels royaly screwed on this one
  11. Cool il not be puting the zed on tho as im ordering a supercharger very soon so wouldnt want to prematurely knacker the clutch or worse lol. Just post up in the forum and il prob c it or send us an im next time your going up m8
  12. it will be back up next week worth 50k!
  13. Im a regular up at crail but everytime i put up on here about it i just get the same replies- "crails full of wee fannies" i might be up this sunday but only if the weathers good. Are you heading through?
  14. I wouldnt recomend japspeed at all. Ive learned a few expensive lessons with buying their products. Ive got a cobra now and love it. Much better quality
  15. So by your own admission he did a good job and is a good tradesman, yes? And you'd be happy to pay a good tradesman £150 a day, also yes? And you expected him to take two days, still yes? Now maths isn't my strong point, but I think I see a slight flaw in your argument here... I genuinely wouldn't get out of bed for £150 a day unless it was something I was seriously interested in. Like dressing Mila Kunis. With my tongue. To some of us 150 is a good bit of money and helps a good bit especially when blowing so much money on a supercharger lol
  16. Appreciate that mate, TBH if it's cash in hand I'm more than happy to pay a good tradesman £150 a day. I'm not expecting him to kill himself either. I honestly expected it to take 2 days but he did it in one day. You could argue I still got the job done really well irrespective of how long it took. But me being me would have said to the customer "I think I over estimated the time that it took" and have reduced the price. Also the guy would have got loads more work from me as I've recently bought a flat to rent out that needs some TLC, but unfortunately he's buggered it for himself. agree. I take 120 for a days work for someone i dont know. 150 would be a good pay and id be happy to pay that for someone who done a very good job in my house. If you need any work done stuarty either joinery or electrical just send me a pm and we would be happy to have a look at it for you
  17. Stuarty if its any use to you my m8 is a very good joiner and very reasonably priced and is in central scotland if you still need work done. He would even give you a price before you accepted him to do the job. And if u need a sparky im your man lol
  18. Yeh i had the same problem with mine before it fell apart. The build quality is shocking. You think they would of changed the design by now as i think nearly everyone has the same problem. The vibration through the car is awful.
  19. If you heard how loud they are then you`d know. I had mine on for 20k miles and am now half deaf. Not sure why he`d stick a butterfly valve in, as surely if it restricts the flow it would affect performance, and also if its only on one silencer surely having all the gases only go through 1 silencer rather than 2 would make it louder? Had to smile at his modifications to get it to fit... I had to do similar to mine. I thought it would make it louder too as single exit exhaust tend to be loud as fluc. My k1 lasted 6 weeks before snapping in half! Also flattening the pipe will take away power too
  20. I think the valve shuts off one side so all the gasses travel through the 1 silencer and make it quieter i guess. When i first seen it i thought the valve was like a screamer pipe venting all the gasses unsilenced but according to him it just makes the exhaust back to normal
  21. I didnt know japspeed exhausts lasted that long lol
  22. I always undercharge on homers and i end up feeling like ive been screwd. I work with people who charge like £200 to fit 8 spot lights where i would take about 60. The way they see it itl cost you alot more to get it done by a company but some of they prices youd be just aswell geting a company in to do it. You should get some quotes before letting them start and always shop about
  23. Smd as i just read your post i hear an almighty clatter as my missus its falling through the baby gate lol
