"Self taught idiot" lol. Id describe myself similar haha. The fuel leaks scare me a bit so thats why im getting someone who knows their stuff to do it. I fitted a walbro in my starlet years ago and never trusted it, think it was a ticking time bomb lol so not going to put myself through that worry again. Hopefully some ptf tape will seal it. Will the fuel not eat away at the tape though?

Thatl probably be unburnt fuel since its miss firing. It could just be because the exhaust has alot of moisture in it from not being used for a while but id think it would be unburnt fuel

Haha. I think im going to put mine into a garage to get all the fuelling stuff done and il just bolt the charger on lol. Kudos for you though for fitting yourself. Are you a mechanic to trade?

coming along nicely. the fuel pressure regulator looks good. did it come with instructions?

out of interest is the crank position sensor hard to get at keyser? just ive seen a couple of cars on here that had to get it done

yeah ive been there too lol.did you put new plugs in with the rebuild? maybe wrong ones or faulty?

did you make sure all the spark plug leads were in the correct order and connected correctly?

the turbos kill the noise because there is a turbine in the exhaust side of the turbo being driven by the exhaust gasses which baffles it a bit. superchargers are driven by a belt and pushes the air into the intake and the exhaust is not affected

Personally think the talking alarm is pretty naff. Id probably draw a snow dong on it if i heard it lol. All joking aside i think that the silent alarm is a really good idea. Where would you get one of them?
