  1. Welcome to the forum. Id stay away from the k1 as its build quality is shocking and it rattles off the cross brace and vibrates through the car. If you like loud id go for the cobra non resonated or if you've got more money a buddyclub systems. Only speaking through experience as i thought "the k1 cant be that bad" lol
  2. Id hate to stay in london for that reason. I drive 2 mins from my house and im on some lovely country roads made for the zed lol
  3. i never even knew rc drifting existed but after reading this thread im pretty interested. ive got an old tamiya 1/10 peugeot 306 rally car but unfortunately its FWD. what sort of car would i need to start this? does it need to be a special type or just rwd with special tyres?

  6. I think you can only use the failsafe cutout on turbo cars as it works by cutting the boost via the actuator but it will still give you the alarm signal flash. Well thats what i gather from the couple of vids i watched. It might be completely different and releases the pressure out the intercooler piping or something. Il send mark a pm and see what he knows about it

  8. ok found it now. looks like a decent bit of kit. cant find any for sale though but to be honest i dont want to spend much over £200 on the guage. i dont know exactly how much the hks is going for but i believe you when you say its expensive . thats cool about the decat as its the easier of the two to get off for cutting/welding the new bung onto. thanks for the help guys its really appreciated

  10. thanks guy. after just watching some videos on youtube ive decided to go with the AEM. Ian i cant find an hks dual channel, when i google it just gives me hks exhausts. where did you get yours from? also when fitting the new o2 sensor, can it just go on one of the decats or is it better to go into the y pipe?
  11. can you not squeeze something under it to apply upwards pressure while turning the bolt so it will grip the threads? either way why does it always happen that the 1 bolt always gives you so much grief when you think everythings going so good
  12. hey guys, im just about to buy a AFR guage and just wondered what ones you went for or can recommend. right now its a toss up between the AEM failsafe AFR guage and the innovate Motorsports MTX-L. im looking for a complete kit with the O2 sensor and everything i need to get it up and running.   13. Thats quite scary. Just hope mine hasn't been turned back as its quite low. Id be gutted to find out it had 100k on it when i thought it was 30k

  16. Watching the new counting cars last night and there was a bright orange 350z parked in the diner car park just as the chevy was pulling away

  18. *Update* just went out and removed the suspect sensor, went for a drive and its still there. Arrrgghh! It really sounds like its coming from the left decat when i hit the exhaust. Ive got a brand new set of decats in the garage that il fit at the weekend and il update this thread when i do. Cheers for the help alex
  19. Crapspeed silenced but ive also had japspeed unsilenced ones fitted and the rattle is there still. I thought it was the y pipe so i got a new one and it was still there. Ive also had 3 different y pipe back exhausts on and no joy. I took a couple of panels off and the 2 heatshields at the decats and cleaned them out as there were little stones in them but its still there. Its driving me nuts
