Hey folks. I done the iPod hack a few months back and couldn't be happier with it. However, the other day i was sitting in the car waiting on someone and i thought "wonder what will happen if i press the eject button?" Well it made a few noises then came up with 'ERROR' on the display and wont work now. I took the thing out to fool the system into thinking theres a cassette in there when i was doing the hack. Ive searched on here and google to try and fix this but to no avail. Any help to get me some music again would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hey folks, going to be fitting my AEM AFR and boost gauge tomorrow in the cubby and just wondered where you guys would recommend getting a power source from for them. I thought about trying to tap off the cigarette lighter in the dash but not entirely sure. Cheers

Dont use comparison website as they've always been way out on the price i end up getting going to websites direct. Try admiral or sky. I. Declared wheels and exhaust and it was an extra £25

Yeah you can. Send tarmac a pm and see what hes got. Think he supplied a bigger sump to someone on here recently so might supply spacers too

What would happen if you had it fitted when its charged?

I went for the digital AEM AFR guage. Its got 4 wires, red and black for live/neutral and the other two are for data logging i think so arent needed. I might just try and get a feed from the cigarette lighter. Ive went the opposite from you and went digital AFR and analog boost guage. On copying you with the guages in the cubby though but with painted perspex instead of aluminium. I think im going to hire a car transporter as the zeds too heavy to be towed by my dads skoda estate which is crap as thats another few hundred quid that i really dont need

From what ive heard the milltek system is nice and quiet on long journey but is louder and sounds good when you give it the beans. Ive got a cobra resonated system with decats and its pretty loud and a little droney. Much better than a k1 though

I forgot you were taking it to RS. Hopefully it will run ok then. At least you can keep an eye on the AFR. You'll know as soon as you first drive it if its going to be ok. Where did you get your power supply from for your AFR? Was it off your old satnav? Reason i ask is im fitting mine on thursday and not very sure where im getting the power from yet

Glad you have finally found the problem. You should go for some aftermarket cams for a bit more power. Then again its probably alot more expensive

Sounds brilliant. Probably not much difference to the food here at the moment then lol. Did you see any modified jap motors? Indonesia would drive me crazy with all the horns lol. Yeah weve not been having the best weather back home but it looks like its starting to get better but being scotland it could change at any minute. Didnt mean to make you sound like a div lol but someone on here put coolent in the oil last week haha. Just a thought that maybe its the wrong dipstick maybe out of an earlier/later engine? Just weird that its not showing anything

Dont mean to sound stupid but are you putting the oil in the right bit lol. Millers racing oils are good for the scoobys too

thanks for the great replys guys . ive had a look on the websites and think im going to go for the dodo juice spin doctor. before commiting to it howerver im going to read that article on the detailing website to decide whether or not to get a rotary polisher as my first machine polisher or play it safe with the megs duel action. either way it looks like im spending a good bit over the £100 mark as is always the way when im buying car stuff . im planning on trying it out on the mrs car first even though its worth more value wise but not to me . does it matter if i use it on her white car then use it on my blade?
