My mate is going to come over and show me how to lap the valves in as I've never done anything like that before, and agra have already cleaned the valves when the head was being skimmed so that saves a job got valve stem oil seals and nismo valve springs to do aswell even tho I said I wouldn't touch the heads lol

I thought this mod was only for the Americans as their diffs were open so they don't have the vented ones as standard. All UK GTs have a finned diff cover standard so I take it you have an open diff import?

It's coming along good gary and the garage looks awesome! I'm just doing nismo valve springs and relaping the valves in on my heads. Wanted cams but the budget wouldn't allow it after my gearbox and clutch went at the same time as the engine hopefully do them next winter if I'm not swapping the supercharger for a turbo

Also worth noting that if your wheels are bigger than 18" it will show as a higher speed on the speedo

Here's a dash vid of mine 1st to 4th. My rev limiter is 400rpm higher than stock and it reaches about 93mph in 3rd

Do you not need the stock pressure sensor fitted alex? I thought the variable timing would run off it like a Honda. Not really sure how it works on the vq though

You killed your engine! probably not the best person to ask for mechanical sympathy! haha yeah but it wasn't to do with oil temp. Fair play though

I've been using the cheap digital oil temp gauge off eBay. It's around £13 lol. Clear to read and never let me down in over a year

Looking to see if anyone has one or is planning to sell one. I am aware of the one for sale on the forum at the moment but the guy won't post and he's 8 hours drive from me. Must be able to post or located in scotland cheers.

Do the harnesses sit in line with the seat? Just reading from another post from back in 2015 and there were concerns over it lining up properly? Just want to make sure as I'm interested in buying it
