  1. Looking cool. Some nice pics there andy
  2. Maybe your clutch slipping? That would explain the wheelspin like symptoms
  3. do I sense some things about to be painted?
  4. can you not just drill a hole for it? if you do just remember to put a little paint on the sides of the hole to stop it rusting
  5. I like it, apart from the back lights. id also change the wheels and dump a vq engine in it and it would be awesome
  6. Surely you meant lack of oil in his zed this doesn't sound good
  7. Cheers lads. I need to pm the both of them soon anyway so i suppose it wouldnt hurt to ask a few peoples opinions on it
  8. Ok cheers ekona. Il send him a pm and see what he recomends

  10. yeah im planning on getting a mishimoto oil cooler but not til next year as im not tracking just now so its just going to be little blasts of speed for the time being
  11. vlad I had the same seats in my evo but with different leather/alcantara combo. the seats are well known for breaking inside, there are little plastic tabs that break and put holes in the back of the seat. I got mine fixed but just to make you aware. they are comfy /hugging seats but are not the best build quality. I think proper buckets would suit yours especially with the cusco cage
  12. just a quick question, as above im looking to find out if I have to change the type of engine oil in my zed once its supercharged? ive read on here that 5w30 is recommended for normal applications but just wondered if it was better to change to a higher temp oil like 10w40 or 10w50 as the engine will now be running hotter. the garage put 10w40 in mine at the last service but I was planning on giving it another oil change when im doing the build so would just like to know whats best/recommended by you guys that have been here before. car is an 04 DE incase it matters. cheers, Steve
  13. alright cool, the OP might aswell change the gearbox but its not to say the new one will do the same 6 months down the line
  14. yeah the HR has two intakes, the DE is 2003-2006 and 2006-(2009 I think it is) is the revup engine both with single intakes. theres a guide in the technical forums telling you the differences. I think youre cars the revup model
  15. I might know someone interested in these. il give him a txt and let you know
  16. you cant read the code on the japspeed ones as that bit of the exhaust cracks and falls off after two weeks
  17. do you know how much a second hand gearbox is for comparison?
  18. I don't think there is much gains from using the cosworth plenum on an N/A motor. I think the Mrev2 manifold is an upgrade for the rev up engines but not for the DE. hopefully someone will be along to confirm. if youre looking for a plenum spacer speak to wasso as he does great quality ones in your colour of choice
  19. infact just seen your welcome post. Finally another zed in my area . you should put your name down on the Scottish zeds list http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/30530-scottish-zeds/ . I`ll keep an eye out for you as im just outside alloa
  20. are you from central Scotland by any chance? just I was talking to a mechanic in alloa yesterday and he said he had just done the brake pipes on a 350z
  21. happy birthday Bennett. hope you get some nice and shiney things for the car
  22. everyones on edge after that sickening incident the other day. hope there is no more innocent lives taken by these scum
