that's pretty cool. I quite like vids like that, makes you wonder. how come youre down in Cardiff now? not get to see you at anymore meets now -
Its funny how they cant isnt it lol they usually replace R with a W and make a choking noise! Reminds me of this I shouldn't laugh, but the American woman was so stupid she bloody read it out. holy sh!t !! how the hell did she not click? you shouldn't laugh but its hard not to at something like that. what an idiot

sashki you have too much time on your hands . how do you find this stuff? -
I can vouch for the quality of these, they are second to none. did you end up buying two smudge? I remember all the purple jokes lol

thanks keyser that's the one I thought you meant. il send you a pic of the pipe tomorrow before I cut it just to double check were on the same page I remember you saying about it fluctuating and affecting youre map on our phonecall but just couldn't remember exactly what pipe I went for an AEM digital AFR gauge and motor meter mechanical boost gauge and kinda copied youre idea for gauges tell me about it! how does it take 7 1/2 months to get a FRS system to me? I could of carved it out a solid piece of metal by hand quicker than that

welcome to the forum mate. hopefully see you at some of the meets as that zed looks nice!

im almost managing not to rag it about but it sounds so good and like the actions just about to explode when im at my 4k rpm rev limit . its like its teasing me saying here we go, oh wait change gear . I cant wait just to rev it right out to the redline and see what it can really do. im going to have a play about with the fuel pressure tomorrow and see if it helps any. ive been out for a drive again and felt all the fuel lines and their bone dry so im convinced its just the exhaust over fuelling. im not booked into abbey yet but il be giving mark a phone on Monday to get booked in. itl probably be a couple of weeks as im on standby with work on Friday for a week so it will need to be after that but I need more revs and I need them now! where have you guys taken the vac pipe for the fuel pressure regulator from? ive taken a line from the front of the plenum and teed off for the regulator and the bypass valve, is that correct? also keyser mentioned about a line at the back of the plenum to tee off from for a boost gauge but im not 100% what pipe to cut. I don't want to end up with coolant in my gauge

thanks keyser that's put my mind at rest a bit. as soon as theres any throttle at all mine goes to 10, can running that rich do any damage? ive just driven upto st Andrews in it and that's nearly an hour and a half drive and its been fine, a bit of a pig at low revs in traffic and a bit jumpy but I think that's just the map, .im running the uprev gt maf sensor from mark so that should be fine. it does sound awesome and you get some funny looks
-
Mark said to me that the pressure without the vac line attached was to be 42 psi and its sitting around that. I cant quite see exactly because iv mounted it a little too low . il try and get my phone in to take a pic and see exactly what its at. I don't seem to have any fuel leaks that I can see but there is a smell of fuel coming from the exhaust but I think that's because its running so lean. if I were to make it less pressure would it let it run a little less rich on the throttle? im just a bit worried that its off the scale lean wise on tickover. when its ticking over the revs sit fine at about 850-900 rpm and just die every now and then but the fuel pressure is constant even when this happens. anybody any ideas? or is it just the map?

the netting on passenger footwell

Thats what I want it for. Cleaned car yesterday and found 6 bottles of juice. Each had been opened and 1 sip out of and then lost in the zed passenger area Anyone think we would be able to make one? Anywhere to screw into or any holes behind carpet? yeah I had seen on a post that neilp had wrote on an airbag light topic to check the connections because sometimes bottles get stuck in there and low and behold like you there was a 3/4 full bottle of juice wedged in it -
thanks guys. tdi only do N/A tunes at the moment and I thought if I was going to do this I want it done by the guys that have done it before and have plenty experience doing it aswell. wish it was closer but at least I get a good road trip out of it and think im staying the night after mapping around leamington spa and have arranged to meet up with vlad so might see if anyone else around that area is up for a little meet. itl be good to see the faces ive been talking to on this

it would be handy for bottles of juice to stop them rolling under my seats and knocking the airbag cables and bringing my bloody light on all the time -
well my fuel return system finally arrived yesterday after seven and a half months! I started fitting it yesterday about 4pm along with the fuel pump and after a few scary fuel leaks (at one point my drive was soaking wet with fuel ) I finally got everything bolted up and ready for the test run at 12.30am. I stay in a quiet cul-de-sac and everyone had their windows open because of the heat but I just couldn't wait any longer and I just had to try it . turned the key and the engine only turned over once then fired into life . Its running on a base map from abbey just now limited to 4k rpm but it sounds amazing! my only issue is that its not got a consistent idle, it ticks over fine then suddenly drops every 5 seconds. I had a few error code for pedal position sensors and some other things but I reset them with a code reader and they've not come back. My AFR gauge is showing off the range lean on idle but as soon as any throttle is applied it goes very rich to around 10/11. is this safe and ok to drive? the last thing I want to do is cause any damage after so much cost already. next step is an epic road trip from Scotland down to abbey for a mapping session then maybe I can eventually get a build thread done

ive got a 245 tyre on the back with a 9.5j wheel and the stretch is hardly noticeable to be honest
-
STAY AWAY FROM ASSAULTECH!!! they've been an absolute nightmare to deal with ive got everything from them except my fuel return system and its only been 7 1/2 months! they answer your emails before you order then trying to get them to reply is a nightmare once you have your money, and they don't answer their phone either. pm tarmac and see if he can get them for you itl be much safer

+1 ive had both and to be honest theres not much difference between the both. the japspeed silencers in the silenced ones only lasted about a month and a half as they melted inside and collapsed. stay away from japspeed if buying decats
