  1. Hi For sale is a set of Berks HFCs bought from Tarmac. These have never been fitted to my car, as far as I believe they were on Will370z's for a week or two before he returned them to Tarmac. They are in as new with the metal work stained by the heat of Rosie. Due to this my asking price for these is £375 inc P&P. For international postage it will obviously be more so just ask.
  2. So got the 370 back yesterday with the new gearbox in it. Feels really good. Felt so good getting back in to it after the qashqai. Seriously the 1.6 petrol engine is awful, made me appreciate the 370 so much more again! Got 29mpg over 600miles in the qq WTF!
  3. I have it for a week, it was the comment that " well you didn't buy it from us" despite the fact you can't buy a 370z from them that got me.
  4. As it's a problem that Nissan has a duty to fix as the car is under warranty. As I paid quite alot of money for the car and pay alot of money for insurance and tax than those in Nissan's more usual vehicles I guess I expected to be treated a bit better considering I could be a valuable customer. I guess I was wrong in that assumption but if I drove a Micra, I'd have no issues having it as my courtesy car. Guess some people just have different expectations.
  5. About two months ago I posted a thread saying that I had crunching when going from 3rd to 6th, on playing with the gearbox some more it turns out if I shift quickly from 1st - 2nd it will crunch and then every gear into 6th. So I booked in with my local Nissan dealer to get it looked at and took the technician out to demonstrate it, no problems, he said to get it in straight away and they'll change the gearbox. So I booked it in for yesterday and expected my courtesy car to be ready. I gave them a call on Friday just to make sure everything was ok and they said they'd change over the insurance for me. So I land down yesterday morning and go up to reception and say that I was booked in to leave my 370z in for warranty work, said I gave a call yesterday and that I was told a courtesy car was ready for me. The extremely puzzled guy on reception seemed to panic and said they had no courtesy cars left and he could find no record of me being booked in. He eventually found my booking for Monday and said that he could give me a Micra. I politely told him that I needed something with a little better for my job and he just said that's all he could give me. A more senior member then came over and the situation was explained .. he responded, "well you didn't buy the car from us." I picked up my keys and went to leave and told them I would go to another dealers, as it is the only Nissan dealers in my local area I felt it right to give a local garage my business, as they're not a Nissan Sports dealer they don't even sell 370zs. As I was walking away the man I'm assuming the manager approached me apologised told me they have a brand new Qashqai that I could have, more to my satisfaction. All in all, I was there for an hour and a half. Not very impressed, just let's hope their mechanics are a hell of a lot better than their customer service.

    MXP Cat Back

Had the exhaust fitted for over a week now and it is truly dangerous to my driving licence. When you get into the car you just want to put the foot down every time, it's nice and docile up to about 3k rpm just a hint of a roar and a burble but once you put the foot down at hit 3.5k rpm the thing just screams! Sounds gorgeous, look the part, nice wide tips and in burnt blue. Only cost £70 to get it fitted, I'm delighted with it!
  7. I'm using synchro rev all the time. I know, from looking on the US forum it seems to be a relatively common issue, alot of people are saying usually it's a new transmission and that would be massively expensive outside of warranty. I've an aftermarket exhaust. can't see that voiding warranty though.
  8. It's September 09 and has 12k on it.
  9. So I've had the 370 for a few months now and I've always found the gear shifts a bit stiff, I didn't pay much attention to it and just thought I needed to be a bit more positive with my shifts. Then yesterday I was driving the car like it should be driven and I slowed down a bit going from 3rd to 6th when I heard a terrible crunch. It only seems to happen when the road speed is a bit higher. Going into 6th at around 30-45 is fine. It's worrying and disheartening t hear your car make this awful noise. Anyone got any ideas?

What do you guys think of this cat back? Personally I think this is the business!
  13. This is just cream in pants kind of thing! So impressed!
  14. Sorry mate, not a massive fan. Would be good in black or CF!
  15. Glad you're ok mate! Must have been scary as hell, bet you're having nightmares, flashbacks and a fear of driving your car! Well that's what you should say when you're putting in your claim haha .. You're a lucky man in all seriousness
  16. As the title says .. I'd love one of these systems!
  17. Just ordered up some mods for me new Z ordered up a stillen gen 3 intake, berks hfcs, eibach progressive springs and a full set of 25mm spacers! Just gota wait on the post man everyday now! Can't wait!
  18. Gutted for you mate. Rosie sounded really good. So do you think that this is a problem with the Berks HFCs and they will not really work with any exhaust?
  19. Amazing though, makes the car brighter than new. The correction level is phenomenal, your 370 looked amazing to begin with but they made it look like glass!
  20. That is awesome!! How much does something like that sting?
  21. I'd say youre right, knocking's no good for a car that's mapped for 98ron! Wonder are there any dyno plots of a 370 ran on 95
  22. Is the group buy still going? Want to get my hands on the HFCs!
  23. Aye, but the 370z's ecu is designed to cope with 95 octane while the 350s were not. Obviously going to be a difference. Think enthusiasts will always take better care of their car's though won't they!
