  1. Front bumper moved to the next person in line for dibs. Wheels are still for sale, make me an offer if you want them. Rear bumper is also still for sale.
  2. Ah, they're sports cats and I'm pretty sure there is a thread around here somewhere about those very ones.
  3. bit like tyres with MPSS Exactly, do you want the tyre that WILL save your life or do you want Ling Longs on there that will kill you, your loved ones and anyone you've ever set eyes on? I know what I'd do. But how do you know they've had hours of development put in them, and are not just a price tag determined by the Brand? Nike trainers, clothing, all made with cheap labor across seas, but you're paying for the brand...

  5. It's a bit like anything though really, you can pay £1000s for a set of genuine TE37s or you can head over to ebay and pick up a set of copies for less than £500. One of those will have had 100s of hours of development on them the other will literally be chucked into a molding device and put into a box. The licence fee goes into R&D and other associated business costs. So like my example above you can pay your monies and have something that has been tried and tested that is supported by all the major tuners over here OR you can get your mate Dozer to go it alone and put a chip in your car to save a bit of cash. Unfortunately the world isn't free I do agree that Uprev is the most popular but as far as I'm aware there is always the top dog in which ever brand your into, Kpro for example in the Honda scene is all people ever talk about.
  6. I don't like to publicly air my opinion of Abbey but I don't hold them in the highest regard which is a shame and it's why I don't recommend them to anyone.
  7. im sure there are others out there, im sure HKS, Jun, Esprit etc didnt mapped there demo cars with uprev. Just uprev is the best supported and easier i guess to obtain Oi, get your own comments. Oh it's you! god damn it, I hate it when people change there avatars So do I but my other half told me I had Nick Rage up for too long so I had to change
  8. I'm going to get a passenger lap off you and sing 'Careless Whisper' the whole way around, right in your ear.

Tbf he posted his a minute before you lol. My posting froze like this website does sometimes! I sat there for a good 2 minutes waiting for it to post.

  11. I think you can get all manner of piggy back ECUs, HKS etc for example, it's just Uprev is what the tuners here use - probably because it's the cheapest option, most customisable etc? If we add up the math on your tuning it only cost you £60 less for someone with a chip he found in the back of his tool box to tune your car..
  12. I guess if your mate is a competent tuner and is doing you a favour then no problems but I'd be a bit nervous to have johnny no dyno whack an unknown blank chip in my car and use the 'force' to tune it.
  13. I believe Kpro or K100 cost a packet before tuning even begins - IIRC it cost me over 600 nuggets to have mine tuned, a lot more than Uprev.
  14. Try Kaizer Motorsport (on this forum), it's a bit of a trek into Kent but I have the same problem. There isn't really a decent Nissan specialist that I know about in Sussex.
  15. Is that a kid in the back milling about with no seatbelt on while he's driving like someone with a death wish? :| Lunatics!
  16. Thing you have to remember with de-cats is you will likely fail an MOT.
  17. Poor Mouthwash I'd gladly stick my finger up in your direction when I see you All I want is for my existence and ownership of a 9 year old Datsun to be acknowledge by a bunch of people I don't even know or care about. Edit: Not you lot
  18. WTF is this, I don't think I ever get comments. Potentially because I look like a smug arrogant pr!ck already However, my other half drives the car and the world and his wife want to acknowledge her existence.
  19. Damn that sucks, hopefully your exhaust is okay as the rear doesn't look too bad? With regards to insurance claims does this all go on the ladies that started the accident or are you liable for hitting the Audi?
  20. Not the same car but my other half had the same issue in her Mini and it turned out to be the front wishbone rear bushes were completely shot, had them changed and it's perfect now
  21. How many is there? 5? Do we get a bigger discount for 6?
  22. I've had a rethink on the rear bumper and any hero brave enough to take it on can collect it from me for £80. It really is a bit of a project. Main post updated.
  23. Yeah, I did a trial run in my car before he came down. Required a bit of the chuckle brothers but we got it in.
  24. V2 Spoiler SOLD. Nice to meet you today and you've also confirmed my fears, Grundy is REAL.
