That's a shame just have to hope karma pays the **** a visit.

£250 takes the wheels, postage will be additional if you want it and they're sold as seen so ask for any specific pictures you want before I send them. I won't be entertaining complaints on £250 wheels with tyres!

A good advert on why not to behave like a **** at Ace Cafe

Or "one last try!" or "Hold my beer" I did all that the other week......at a Roller Skating Disco (Don't ask why I was there, lets just say the word Female.) Anyway, I was doing 'Okay' - I can ice skate, but roller skate with 4 wheels is weird!, Anyway, the guy announces can everyone vacate, this is for Exp skaters only, we are doing speed skating. We all got off, 6 people on there, saw a few laps and said to everyone 'F*** this, that looks easy, watch this!, did 1 lap fine, nice and fast, 2nd lap, came out the corner hard, barrel rolled and ended up into the wall with a skate off and the audience pissing them selfs xD May I offer some advice as to why you're single? -
So much <3!! Thanks buddy - You can now come to any meet you like .......and I'll get the 1st round of drinks! Sounds good to me

Donated, good luck to him. He's gonna need it if he's gonna get those wheels on your car. Oh wait, this isn't a fund raiser for your wheels? WTF have I done.

Mustang (5.0L) for me, I think

So you're basically saying I have to tell everyone what my personal problem is or I'm not allowed to suggest to other individuals to go and look at other options for their servicing? Yeah, okay. I've never suggested to him NOT to go to Abbey but said that I was looking elsewhere, blowing things out of proportion me thinks. Getting a bit weird in this thread now.
-
I get what you're saying I do which is why I try to give a balanced opinion, I don't just tell people they're @*!# and to go elsewhere. As you can see from my original post before the OP started questioning me that I was just trying to say there are other options. If I started a thread saying 'don't go to abbey' then, yeah, I would say you're all entitled to wonder why I made the topic. Everyone always says 'Go to Abbey' and they're more than entitled to but why can't I mention to look elsewhere? Strange world we live in.
-
I don't think I have to air my personal problem with Abbey on a public forum, if the OP wants to PM to find out my problem then he can. I can however say that if I had a choice then I would go elsewhere. You will also see that I didn't reveal I don't like giving my honest opinion of the trader until the OP said I was being vague, I was just giving my reasons as to why I'm being vague (next time I'll just be vague to save all this). I've actually spoken to Glrnet in person about this anyway (in total agreement, I might add), I know he is just doing his forum admin bit so I don't mind. EDIT: I just read the reply to Glrnet, I posted that quickly on a tablet. It wasn't meant to be quite as antagonistic as it sounded, sorry

Got a picture from farther back? Interested to see what it looks like

Edit feature doing me proud, again.

I'm sorry, this is not on. It's not the first time you've done this and if you "don't like giving an honest opinion" then maybe it's best you keep your thoughts to yourself. However if you have a real and justifiable issue with a trader on here (the fact they pay is irrelevant, it's the service they provide that matters) then let the team know about it if you are unhappy. Please keep in mind that there are proper channels to complain about the service you may have or not received from a trader on here and I presume by making your thoughts public that you have indeed taken your grievance up with the trader first? Not sure what you're getting at but I'm giving another point of view, I don't have to write war and peace on it nor do I have any obligation to reveal anything. I'm simply saying on a public forum that I would look elsewhere? Problem?
-
Yeah, I don't like giving my honest opinion regarding traders that pay to be on here. Also a lot of fan boys may take offence and white knight them, all in all not worth the hassle. However, there are other options if you fancy giving someone else a try.
-
I have a mixed opinion of them, plenty of people seem to come away happy though. I'm sure there wouldn't be any problems but just don't let people on here convince you that there is no alternative.

I'm on the lookout for a new service place in West Sussex, going to try kaizer motors in Kent I think. I used to go to Abbey MS. Someone on here has mentioned super 7 autos in Worthing as a good place to go.

I'm pretty sure StevoD on this forum ran 9.5" Rotas at the front of his car, not sure what his suspension set up or anything is though.

I've found one source for the weight and it's around 10KG each, but that's not come direct from the manufacturer just to give you a ballpark.
-
I've no idea dude, they're not the lightest wheel about though. I'll see if I can find out for you

Dblock stormed off a while ago but must still read the place: Last Active May 19 2014 19:34 I liked his posts, was a character on the forum

It depends, if he doesn't feel the car is working as it should be then yes he should be talking to HD. If he feels he wasn't treated properly as a customer then he should be free to express his opinion to other people interested in the service.

That was at Horsham Dev? They've got nothing but praise on this forum and I'm booked to go see them later in the year so a bit worried now. Care to share anymore of your experience while you were there? is a bit interesting abbey had my car from 9am till just past 13:00 Yeah everytime I've had a car mapped (always NA cars) it's been a good half a day. I'm really hoping I'm not going to drive in and drive out within the hour, I'll be very worried. I wouldn't doubt jez. I've had 2 cars mapped this and my golf. And this I got to watch and the golf I just left there. Has anyone been with there car elsewhere? Because I can't imagine it taking half a day to map. Imagine your car being reved off its tits for 4hours straight. Gains are all down to the history of the car. I think so people notice things different to others. Also after a few days of driving its hard to compare because you forget your old setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Seeing as the map is supposed to be bespoke to your car I would expect to be there for more than an hour. When I went to CPL racing to have my car fitted with a few parts and mapped it was there all day (8 - 5-6ish) with me sitting there for about 2/3 hours whilst it was being mapped. I might have over exaggerated with half a day for mapping but I would have some questions if I arrived and within the hour I was paid up and driving off...? To put it into context, CPL Racing required my car have over half a tank of fuel. Again, it may differ for the 350z because a map for my Honda was well over £600 iirc. I'm not an expert and can only go on my previous experience at other places. Aye for me, it was the first time I got to see it all in action. I think it's dependent on the car, as there is only so far you can push a car to get any more juice out of it. Jez got mine from 258bhp to 283bhp in about half hour'ish? and on the final 2 runs, we only got about 0.5-1bhp increase compared to the previous of 5+. So he could of carried on for another 2 hours and only gained 1 more BHP... For me, I don't think there was anything else he could do or couldn't of done. I'd rather what I got, than my car sat there for another 2 hours, another 20 runs on the dyno, revving it's tits off just to get an extra 10bhp. Maybe he's got it down to such a fine art that it's more like a conveyor belt than a dyno Maybe he forgot to click 'save'
