  1. The car should be at 60psi (when hot) at about 2500rpm.
  2. Too big mate lol 10mm is max that would fit without modifying arches I have 9.5" at the front with 20mm spacers, with camber arms they fit fine.... Anyway, food for thought if you don't get anywhere.
  3. I've got some 15mm spacers that are of no use to me if you're interested.
  4. I wish I could say he owed me but I enjoy messing about with cars and socialising so a good weekend for me.
  5. What have a lied about?! I do have a life you know I realised when I typed that I misused 'lying', I was meant to put 'making excuses' sorry for the confusion.
  6. We made sure both the fronts were the same. I.e. measured from top ring to the bottom ring. Rears I'm going to get Sly to double check. Yeah the rears I'm pretty sure need checking but the fronts should be near on identical in height. Fronts it was all like, right let's take some time measure this and get it right... Rears it was all, fuck this get it on, I've had enough
  7. Complete luck? I used my MK1 eyeball.
  8. His car is a bit on the crusty side so a lot of things took a lot longer than they should have.
  9. Could not think of a better use of my weekend, seriously, I couldn't. Must get better at lying, maybe Dedman has some tips
  10. Great review there Payco.
  11. That's good thing that you've got doubt in your mind, it'll help stop you make a mistake. None of us on here know if it's a good buy or not as all we have is that tiny advert to go on but that advert doesn't exactly make it look appealing, the only thing that is appealing is the price. However now you have that doubt you can go in with your eyes open a bit more, if everything you want to know gets a satisfactory answer then you've potentially got a good buy. Previously I thought you had basically bought the car before you'd viewed it.
  12. I'm sure you'll get a feel for how honest the guy is when you're there.
  13. Sometimes you won't know it's a turd until problems start occurring a certain amount of miles later (fuel issue for instance but again, I don't know if that's a problem with HRs). There is a buyers guide on here just make sure you look through it. He says he's had offers but you've only his word for it (and that they were reasonable), I'm only trying to keep you level headed as I'd hate to see you post up later on about all the potential issues the car may have.
  14. 35k miles of not being looked after is probably a lot worse for the next owner than 120k miles of being looked after, it's hard to tell though. This could be a very good car at a good price or it could be a total lemon someone is trying to rid themselves of but with the things listed, I would go with caution and say it's more likely to be a lemon. I'm not sure how the HR engines fair with the wrong fuel / lack of service but on the DE / Revups it's not good.
  15. Paintwork underneath the wrap is probably terrible and little to no service history could mean it's had a rough life, I'd avoid it personally. If it had been written off but still had decent service history and the right colour it would be a lot more attractive. It's your money however and if you're prepared to accept the risks then you should definitely view it first.
  16. I'm not an MOT tester but unless it's blowing / failing emissions I don't think it would fail... Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the MOT process will let you know.
  17. On a tight budget buy second hand cats in good condition and replace. Are you sure yours are broken? Are they blowing? It might just be the shields coming off.
  18. £150 after tax? or before? What about pension contribution? I feel sorry for you and I have the same distrust of bodyshops I recently had mine (front bumper that is) repaired for some cracks that appeared down the side, drove it 8 miles home and hey presto, the cracks reappeared.
  19. There are a few threads around on this forum about that car if it's the white 350z, general consensus is to avoid it.
  20. Did you salvage that from the Titanic?
  21. Probably because you were trying to drift on MPSS, silly. Looks like you were doing good job Stevo, you'll get there in the end I have no doubt of that.
  22. You won't be saying that once you've spent all your money. Welcome.
  23. Where's the walnut trim?
