I gave up with the Escorts and just retired, can't be arsed when it's no fun... I notice the AI has no problems cornering like it's on rails in the Escorts. I went on to the 190E next, managed to get 6th place with 80% difficulty but it's pretty damn hard.... I've no idea how to make it easier to go from opposite lock to opposite lock with the G27 either, sometimes it's hard to correct a tiny mistake and ends up being a massive off which in turn makes me a lot slower around the track because I'm being nervous.

I'm tempted to buy a G27 steering wheel for the PC, seems to get good things said about it but I know it's been about for years... I feel a bit bitter about paying all that money for something that's had a shelf life of like 5 years. I can't seem to find anything else that seems as good for the monies though.

Yep, I think you could get away with a 5/10mm spacer but I chose to run a 20mm hubcentric spacer. If you choose to run a hubcentric spacer you will need to shorten the hub bolts as the rear face of the wheel is flat with no recess for the bolts to sit in. I know what Mrs Mouthwash would say.
