For the clicking axle noise, check the stickied thread.. You can fix it for an afternoon of your time!

3.5L 350z or a 0L Leaf.. Hmmm.. tough choice.
-
I'm with Docwra on this one, who gets jealous over a car like this? Dickheads, I guess.
-
Yeah clear will look much better, I'm not sure about hellaflush myself.. I really like your car how it is but as the guy above me said, it's your car
-
Fair enough, and that's not too bad a price I suppose.... Maybe one day I'll get over my fear when I don't actually need the car to travel.
-
I think 18s are big enough on a zed, I think it's probably just the black making them look smaller.. black is slimming they say. It's more the reliability of the cars I'd worry about, I'd imagine they cost a lot to rectify.
-
Nice but some spacers (even on the rear) would make it look even better! I'm pretty sure there are no safety issues with fitting spacers to the car and I'd imagine the car doesn't get driven hard enough for it to have a negative impact on the handling.
-
At first, I thought the middle of the front bumper should have been black instead of 'cream' (white!!) but now I look at it black wouldn't look right at all. You thought about doing anything with the orange reflectors?
-
Like the wheels on the zed but look a bit small for aftermarkets? Maybe it's the black along with it being a photo. I'd like to own something like a supra (tt) just not brave enough, I'd just think it's going to break all the time.

Got to be one my favorite zeds on here, not bad for 3 weeks effort.

Sad news It does look as if the driver didn't react as there are no skid marks? Even squinting I can't see anything. Problem is you can't see the road leading up to the incident... Perhaps an animal darted onto the road? Who knows.

The aftermath of our 2013 European Road trip

Looks like a good time and some good pictures too. On a side note those standard alloys are growing on me.. Always thought that they didn't quite look right. -
Nice pictures, I don't seem to hold the natural talent to take good photos

Cobra Sports Exhaust from Cougar Store
mouthwash replied to MITZ@CougarStore's topic in Cougar Store
Got my Cobra Exhaust on Wednesday, like a kid at Christmas I couldn't wait to fit it so took the afternoon Thursday to do so. Just to let those of you who are considering attempting this at home, there are a few things that are a pain in the arse: 1) At least one of the bolts is going to snap, one attaching the cat and the y pipe snapped and it was a to get off, the bolt is attached to the exhaust using a spline so after grinding some of the bolt off and heating the area around the bolt it finally came out after much hammering. 2) If you DO manage to keep all of your bolts intact you will find that the Cobra system will not fit the cats properly, so you have to remove at least one bolt from each side. 3) The mid pipe and the backbox are connected via tac welded bolts but I'm not planning on reusing the exhaust as it seemed pretty shot, so snapping the bolts isn't a bad thing... 4) The backbox hangers are a sod to get to due to the size of the backbox, you're going to need something big with a lot of leverage (or the correct tool...) to get it off, once one is off the other is easy to get to. The system itself is well made and inside the package you get more than enough nuts/bolts/gaskets to finish the job. It took about 4 hours for two of us to do it. I opted for the non-resonated system and I really don't know why you'd buy anything else, it's loud when you hammer it but pootling about at 30/50 etc. it is pretty quiet, I get no cabin intrusion at all. The only thing I would say that's letting it down is the way the tips are connected to the system, the clips are rather big and ugly And fitted pic: As expected, excellent service from CS Edit: if you don't want my little write up here please let me know and I'll delete it -
So they had to walk to the far end of the car park to do this to your car? What the actual f*** :| Hope it's not too expensive to sort and I know it's not much comfort but the kind of people who do this will never have anything nice in life. They may have caused you 15 minutes of misery but they have a life time of it, so I like to think anyway.

Is it me or is he wearing odd socks? On a side note, I have that exact same can of WD40. Seriously though, not many forums have this kind of community, it's a good thing to see
-
Absolutely gutted for you, really hope it gets sorted with the minimal of cost out of your own wallet. This is really the reason I hate parking my car anywhere and am totally paranoid, unless I'm doing a round trip with minimal stopping I prefer to leave the car at home, goes to show you just can't have nice things

Ugh, that's that then.. I was on the precipice of buying something and all it took was a little nudge. You have PM. -

Does anyone know how good these are for a semi-serious build? Like the price and the sound/looks and would be a big bonus if they're as good for power gains as systems a bit more expensive. I'm not just talking about putting this on and expecting 20bhp but coupled with mapping/hfc etc. Anyone know? Thanks for any input -
Thanks for the replies, Mark that sounds great, I'd be quite happy to drop it up to your workshop after hours if you're able to meet me.. I've had a quick nose on your website but can't see it anywhere, are you able to provide MOTs? It's going to need its MOT within a month so if you can kill two birds with one stone that would be perfect. Also can't find prices but will call to discuss when I look what service it needs. Looks like it's Abbey for me. Thanks all

Evening all, My 350z is due a service and for the life of me I can't seem to find a reputable independant around the West Sussex area. I know of Abbey Motorspot but they're about 50 miles away and it's not exactly a drop in before I go to work affair. Does anyone know of any decent, reputable indies around West Sussex? Otherwise I'm going to have to chance my arm with Nissan.. Thanks in advance for the help

CTR is definately a good option, can be picked up cheap these days and running costs are hardly astronomical.

Received mine yesterday

We can also lock it or delete it. It is better to use PM's when sorting stuff like this out. Save us having to moderate. Then you would be sitting there with your moderating buttons gathering dust, how bad would I feel if I didn't enable you to use them? Anyway, I get the message. Rarerims, if you could just PM me to confirm. Thanks You have left your manners in the bottom drawer perhaps you should have a look for them or try a bit of your user name. What are you getting on your high horse for? It was a light hearted comment, I took what he said on board and stopped completing the sale via the thread. Seriously, I can understand if I was genuinely being rude but you've either read something wrong or taken the whole sentence out of context. Either case, I can't help... Sorry. Anyhoo, to stop filling this thread with even more of my clutter.. If you really have a problem with what I said, please explain via PM. Thanks
