  1. I give you Titanic by Michael Bay:
  2. Not that I keep track of your life or anything but didn't you get that Clio more than 14 days ago? Or is it just a myth that they have 14 days (date on letter) to send a NIP?
  3. What makes you think it's a 380RS? Just curious as I might have missed something
  4. Which would suggest this is masquerading as a Nismo?? Maybe Japan had a different spec.
  5. Anyone else think that this was going through OV53's head at the traffic lights?
  6. Surely a Nismo would have had all the toys + be a manual? Seems a bit strange to me. At £10k I was tempted to chop mine in plus some cash for it, especially with 10k miles on it. Also, if you look at the revometer picture looking to the right you can just about make out 120 on the speedo which would suggest to me it came from Japan.
  7. Either use the search function and hope for the best (can be a bit hit and miss) or put a post up in 350z General and ask 'WTF IS DIS??' and see if anyone knows.
  8. Voted for the TVR myself, don't think I'd own one in real life so for this game seems like a good idea
  9. I didn't realise myself to begin with and, like you, I'm more of a lurker than a poster but hey-ho, I guess if everyone on the forum acted like they have autism there wouldn't be much point coming here. You find the longer you stick around the more you have to comment on, even if it's just your own experience on undoing a few bolts. The rules protect other members from less-than-honorable individuals from signing up and taking advantage of peoples good will.
  10. Thing is, you aren't anywhere near the requirment.. It would be a bit odd if the mods were to say 'You're 80 posts short, you have 12 hours to get 80 posts', that would just promote spamming. If you're planning to be about for a while to use and contribute to the forum then getting another 80 posts won't be a problem and at that point you can then put your what's it worth thread up! However, I suppose if you've only signed up to get a valuation on your item then you're sh*t out of luck.
  11. Create your topic again but this time use the correct sub forum! http://www.350z-uk.c...whats-it-worth/ Edit: Taken from the sub forum: 100 Minimum Posts required to post in this subforum. Any posts posted elsewhere will be moved to here, if they are under the 100 minimum post amount then the post will be deleted.
  12. In the for sale section (if that's where you posted it..) there are rules about posting items for sale, you probably didn't follow the rules which is why your topic has gone. The rules are right in your face when you click on the for sale sub forum so you can't miss them.
  13. I had a few comments like that from work mates before they actually saw the car and then when they did they suddenly changed their tune. To me a hairdressers car has always been something convertible with not much go. Like a KA convertible, MX5 or Porsche Boxster?! Basically cars which are convertible and don't have enough power to make them true performance cars. Although in saying that the MX5 isn't a bad car nor the Porsche. I did loose track in the end of the positive comments the zed got. Everyone from kids shouting out "nice car mister" as I drove past, Mister? Were you driving through the 19th century?
  14. I can't help you decide but while I think about it Did anyone see that show about the bloke deciding which expensive car to buy? I mean all that needless wealth, would have been much better in the hands of a charity feeding hungry kids or something. BMW would be my pick if it's the Coupe.
  15. They did what they said they were going to do, can't ask more than that. Got my rotors today, installed them then ate my free Haribo as a reward. Thanks guys
  16. It's taken me like 2 years to put up 200 odd posts, I might get my sticker next year at some point if I'm lucky.
  17. Claim off her insurance, that will show her who's responsible....
  18. I only fill mine up if I'm travelling any distance and £30 usually lasts me a few weeks like you I see little point in carrying all that extra weight. Pete In truth, I'm much like yourself, I don't travel that far that often so don't often fill the tank to the top. When I'm going far I'll fill it to the top but no point in overloading on fuel as like you say £30 lasts quite a long time.
  19. this i believe I was wondering what the picture was getting at to start off with but when I quoted you the img is called splat.jpg.
  20. Wonder what happens when you get hit by another vehicle in that thing?
  21. I don't ever fill my tank to the top, the extra weight saving allows me to take on VXRs in the traffic light GP.
  22. Now that I think about it, a few months ago my clutch was 'clicking' when depressing / releasing during normal driving although stopped doing it now. Regarding the fluid/braided line Abbey don't think that they will help my situation, have you had success personally with it? I haven't needed it tbh, although the fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture over time altering it's compressability, you can tell by the colour quite often I would definitely check the helper spring, you can see it on the pedal from underneath the dash, it could just be the pressure plate springs are knackered and have lost their spring unfortunately Okay thanks, I appreciate the help. I'll take a look at the helper spring when I get a chance.

  24. I've had the car about two years, it's gotten progressively heavier over the last 6 months to the point where it's actually just making me lose interest in driving the thing. I'm guessing in all likelyhood if I want to fix it a replacement will be the only option. Yeah, the clutch is lighter than compared to the clutch in the silverstone experience day single seater thing that I done but I only drove that for 30 minutes, I didn't have to drive it 2 1/2 hours home. I'll take a look see if I can find the how to!
