  1. Had the same codes recently. Faulty coil. Replaced coils and spark plugs problem solved. That was a misfire and vcd and slip light lit up with CEL. Thats a stab in the dark though.
  2. Do you have any pics with them on the car?
  3. I came from a 1.6t corsa sri. I miss having a smaller car living in town but not the reputation of those cars or the image they project of the drivers! Before that is was a more sensible golf gti. Also miss the sound of a turbo but a v6 and a nismo exhaust keep me content! Especially when the decats arrive!
  4. Currently have a set of rota gtr 18" wheels that need two new tyres on the back. Been quoted around 650 for a full refurb of the wheels and two new falken 453s on the rear. For that price though im as well just buying a new set of wheels and tyres. I normally just look here, driftworks gumtree and ebay. Any other good websites that have a high turnaround of used wheels?
  5. Offt harsh man! Still worth milking it when you get back Still not seen your car since the refurb, did you use tws in newcastle?
  6. I managed to get a shot in one on the back of the old man test driving. Very nice solid car. I found it a bit weird how it delivers the power as you can watch the needle going up but it really doesn't feel like its getting faster if you know what i mean. The exhaust is very nice, Chris Harris mentions it in his review and it is a very chunky when it shifts, very addictive! Look great in black with the 19" extras wheels. Saw a matte grey one on the road looks very cool too.
  7. I've tried several recently gets power from the port but doesn't connect to torque or obd reader apps( despite saying jobd protocols supported) i'm guessing there's some witchcraft required.. Still to give the standalone wired reader and connector a bash, though not ordered yet. OBDII Reader MX and the ELM 327 Bluetooth adapters so far don't work however work with UK cars, although again that could just be the protocol that's wrong.
  8. Hey, try this one http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67355-cheap-obd2-reader/page__hl__scanner#entry1066241 , not tried myself but a friend has another reader that i'm going to try first. I've already bought one from amazon that works on uk cars but not JDM. Seems to connect to the car but reading through torque it doesn't seem to pick up the ecu.
  9. Nismo with stock cats (at the mo!) Add some Berk Hi Flows to the Nismo. Or no cats at all
  10. Mines an import I'm 280 like the rest of them.
  11. Anyone had issues using torque on a JDM? Car seemed to talk to the bluetooth adaptor fine but torque didn't seem to think so. Anyone had similar issues? Had an array of warning lights come on after a spirited drive (CEL,VCD and Slip) just wanted run the fault through.
  12. Sounds like that could have been me outside brewdog. I normally wave but there was a jeep infront of you
  13. Berks are awesome, after the refurb thats next on my list. Did you hear Pete take off last night? Hes got the nismo + berks, sounds great!

    What nuts

May sound like a stupid query. My wheels are going in for a refurb some time next week so i'm going to replace center caps and wheel nuts at the same time. Question is, what nuts should i go for if i want a colour to match the brembos. Is there a specific fitment/length i should be looking for? Found a few worrying posts about the d1 nut quality. Dont fancy spending £80 + either!
  19. Flashed your lights at me today along riverside drive! I think i waved back in time! Gunmetal grey
  20. I came from a corsa too, the 1.6t sri version. Its nice to have a car that's much more planted and doesn't have a reputation as a chavs car! Not to mention reliability! Month out of warranty and the air conditioning compressor needed replacing to the tune of £1600, wheel bearings would need replaced regularly (i was told this is a known issue....great!), more frequently than tyres! With the z its already leaps and bounds ahead of it in terms of maintenance! Enjoy it! I do everyday, it was the best decision!
  21. Saw Marc's latest photos, i think hes mad! Looks good though! On my "to do!"
  22. What coilover do you have man? Car looks nice and low!
  23. Im back on the 21st so wont manage! Not had the car out since getting it back from the bodyshop so if you are out and about you'll probably see me that weekend! Much fuel will be consumed!
