So my tickets and stand pass have just arrived. Point to note (or might just be me being stupid - probably is) you are send a link to the tickets and also the pas that you can then download. But it's a single use link, so I've successfully downloaded my vehicle pass to my phone, but now have no other way of downloading it or printing it off. And now I have no way of retrieving or even viewing my stand pass. Help!! So before downloading, make sure your device is connected to a printer folks.

Well that was a short discussion Just Googled 'car in a shipping container' and there are plenty of images supporting your comments guys. Although there is plenty of room to store a car in one, there really isn't enough room to get in or out comfortably. Lambo doors anyone?
-
Not a serious enquiry, just thinking out loud. Was wondering - Could a large shipping container be used as a garage to store a car? I don't mean for an extended period without use, but maybe as somewhere secure to keep a car only used on weekends etc? I've noticed there are a number of places renting a container for circa £20 a week. You rent the container and use it to store whatever you like. If there was a 'storage yard' close to, or relatively close to home, could a container be used as a garage? Thoughts?

I got my hands on Mark's knob today. Got a nice weight to it and the girth is spot on. It's s lovely knob. Oh c'mon. We're already near the bottom of page three of this thread and it's stayed remarkably mature and sensible.

Just a point to note, if it's an 06 rev up/facelift car it could be either Gunmetal Grey (WV2) or Twilight Grey (K51). I'd check which you have before ordering any paint as both colours were used in 06-07.

Yep that's the one Jack. Apparently it's commonly used as a stop/tail light on Jap motorcycles, so if not joy, try a bike shop.
-
As usual, don't believe or trust the bulb fitment/reference guide in Hslfords. It states that it's a 'normal' stop tail bulb - it's not. It's a large capless bulb. Like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/230991541157 It's a 10 min job at most.

You're welcome Jamie, thanks very much for asking me to make one for you. I'm glad you're happy with it and prefer it to your original/OEM one I don't actually place mine so it's flush and set it back a little, kind of a 'midway point' like you have. But there's no right or wrong way to fit it - just personal preference. Thanks again Jamie

Looks great fitted. Thanks kmartje, I'm really pleased you're happy with it (and think blue was the better choice)

Awesome. Thanks for sharing a pic Matt, glad you're happy with it

Ahh cool. Looks like I may have a +1 and I thought I'd need to buy them a ticket.

Here you go, my original wanted post, but everything you need is within the content http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105042-wtd-350z-key/ Good luck.

You can buy a used Micra key off eBay for about £10, recode it yourself and then it's just a case of getting a new blade cut. My friend washed her Z key in her jeans pocket and we did this. She was obviously able to use the pre-existing blade, it was the electronic internals that were required. But all in, it cost less than £10. I'll see if I can find the reprogramming guide.

Everything looks good in orange.

Hi all, shameless plug and self promotion alert.... If anyone wants a vertical tonneau cover/boot divider, I'm coming along to Japfest, so will have time between now and then to make your own individual divider. If you're wondering what the hell I'm on about, take a look here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103544-350z-vertical-tonneau-cover-boot-divider/ Obviously there'd be no postage costs, and with a little Japfest discount too, I'd happily make you one for £45. If you'd like one or have any queries, please get in touch. I'll see y'all at Silverstone
