Yeh stick with 35 profile and a -1 offset will work but you will need your arches rolling. I'm running a 10.5j with a 0 offset and mine doesn't rub so I'm sure you will be fine.
  4. Ok so I've now got my cargo net and boot divider next on the list for interior is a parcel shelf. I have seen they come standard on uk cars but were an option on jdm cars. So my questions are will I be able to fit one to my fairlady? And where can I get one from and roughly how much do they cost. Any help would be great and thanks in advance.
  5. I also have an A3 tdi and a 350z not the 370z but around town I get about 19mpg there is no way I could afford the 350 every day. However on a motorway trip I can get it up to 27mpg driving sensibly.
  6. Received my nismo cover today thank you, it fits and looks great.

Depends how much stretch you want if you want the same as mine go for the smaller tyres if mine is to much go for the 235 and 255. If I was you I'd go for the bigger tyres you will have more rubber on the road.
  8. I think they come with it but you don't have to fit them.
  9. Yeh I love both of them although I don't like the support bars on the stillen.
  10. I prefered the car before the new bumper I think it would look better with a stillen black splitter. Love the car by the way well done.
  11. Nismo, stillen, c west, charge speed, mine's
  12. i use halford tools not had one break on me yet i find them really good especialy at that price.

Yea I was behind you entering Santa Pod a few weeks back. You went up with a load of other Jap cars I noticed. Well I am pretty low and yes my suspension is very firm but it does tend to handle better than OEM suspension around the track. But I am not massively fussed as I don't track it that often. Providing it is still smooth to drive and feels good I will be happy. I certainly wouldn't sacrifice the ride for larger/wider wheels, but I am confident I can get it set up to get the best of both wheels. what you saw the A3? yeh she is my work horse now but was my pride and joy before i got the 350 took me 6 months to work out what wheels i could get on that as know one had done it to an A3 then.

yeh a 235 on a 9" rim will be fine its hardly stretched on my 9.5" so you will be fine, you could prob get away with running a 225 awell if you wanted. And you will be fine with a 255 on a 10" rim its quite stretched on mine but dont for get your rim will be 12.5mm skinnier than mine. well she handles just fine thanks and i like the look of it as do many other people so im happy.
  17. Not much has happend lately really but thought id update the thread as ive done a few small things. gave the exhaust a good old clean and got some pics of it as i havent any on here. And my brother asked me to take him to his wedding in her so that was an honor. Then i went to japfest got a new sticker some people love it some hate it. Mine and a mates 33GTR with 580 BHP and the r34 gts has 520BHP My japspeed y pipe started leaking at the flexi joint so with thanks of cougar store they quickly got me a cobra pipe. Ive now fitted it but its blowing where the y pipe meets the rest of the system so still need to sort this out. Hopfully i find a job soon then i can start to do more things to her like the engine and gearbox oil coolers and a diffuser.

A lot of it is just guess work and measuring every time I've done silly wheels I use online offset calculators which then tells you where the wheel will sit, how much further in or out the wheel will sit ect. Also another good site to use is rim tuck.com I also used that to see what wheels I could squeeze onto the 350. And what most people forget when test fitting wheels is when the suspension goes down the wheel tucks into the arch more as well it doesn't just go straight up but also gets pulled in.
  21. I nearly got beaten by a 1.5 civic was so Imbarassed but it was bloody quick I think it's because Han was driving it lol.

My set up is 235/35/19 front on a 9.5" ET20 and 255/35/19 on a 10.5" ET20 with 20 mm spacers on the rear which basically means I'm actually running a ET0 on the rear. I have my rear arches rolled but don't think I actually needed it done I had it done in preparation to getting my wheels. I'm sure I have pictures on my build thread or would you like me to get some more and put them on this thread?

He won't need the arches pulled or rolled I'm running a 10.5" on the rear with ET0 and a 255 tyre. However fronts will be close depending how low you are.
  24. The best I managed was a 14.6 and that was with the wind against me, but don't forget I'm in an auto and have one leg I bet a driver with two legs could get about a 14 flat out of her.
