  1. I've no doubt thats a scam, however, the MOT history could be due to it being used outside the UK for a few years.
  2. I cable tied mine to the Nismo V2.
  3. No mate, previous owner told you a porky. These lights are about half the price of OEM versions and can be got on eBay from the States. You can tell by the number of LEDs, there are twice as many on these eBay ones.
  4. Lovely motor, always like them in yellow, however, those aren't genuine LED tail lights
  5. The Gemini has removable tips, the Q300 doesn't.
  6. Yes, you're right, a quick check reveals that vehicles registered after September 2001 must have the suppliers name on the plate to pass the MOT. It would seem that you can't get number plates made up these days without the makers/dealers name ...........well not legally anyway Pete Show plates
  7. I might have some OEM's in the garage if you want to borrow just incase they snap?
  8. Thanks Kyle. I believe that there are heat shields both above & below the converter: the lower ones seem easy enough to get at, not sure about the top ones. How easy/difficult a job would you say this is (for someone who is useless at car mechanics/DIY)? Honestly no idea, I've never done it, but if you can climb under the car and poke the heat shields, I'm sure you'll soon find which one(s) are lose and just remove them, hopefully it's a bottom one.
  9. Rip the heat shields off, that will most likely cure the problem. If it doesn't, then the cat internals may have deteriorated and are rattling about, but most likely it'll be the former.
  10. Spotted those myself, but they have spray on the face that meets the hub, can't that affect things once they're fitted?
  11. There are plenty interested, I have a set and I'm still interested
  12. You may have to chop off one of the side bits to make it function correctly. I can't remember which side it was, but you should have 2 bits joining the buttons that look like [ and ].

    Door Card Swap

I think you'll need the facelift window control panel as it's different from the pre facelift, the passenger side is the same.
  14. I wouldn't buy one from the south unless it was a complete bargain. There used to be a higher octane fuel down there and then it was fazed out and now there is E85 fuel which is high octane again. Chances are the engine is fine, but there is always the possibility it's been used a bit too hard whilst on 95 fuel and it's really something you can find out or check for until it's too late. As for the exhaust, if its OEM it's probably been welded up at the mid pipe, that may have left it a bit askew.
  15. I think the 10.5" rears, which are like hens teeth, have a huge lip similar to TE37's.
  16. PS4 is the successor to the PS2, PSS is still the king, although depending on prices I could easily be swayed to PS4's as they're not a million miles away.
  17. Buy a car based on what you see, don't automatically assume it's a better car because the owner signed up to this website a year ago and made a few posts. There are and have been some sheds on here, just like anywhere else and buying from a member doesn't mean a trouble free experience either. Just be cautious and do all your checks as there are good deals available everywhere and some members add a premium to their price because they think being a member makes their car worth more
  18. I just did the same thing with a sim only deal on Vodafone, how did you get it so cheap? Best deal they could offer me was £20 for 20gb as I've been with them for 8 years My company are signed up to the Vodafone Advantage Scheme, so that means it gives employees 15% off phone contracts or 30% off sim only plans.
  19. I'm now interested in the watch. I always said when the first one was launched that it needs GPS and if they integrate it into the watch then I'll see about getting one. I'm guessing millions of others were on the fence like I was and this is why they have listened to the people and followed through, correcting the failings. The phone I'm not sure on, not much of a difference from my 6 apart from more power, but I don't feel like I need more at the moment. Just yesterday I 'upgraded' my £48.50 4GB Vodafone contract to a sim only £14 20GB +2GB roaming contract, so if I change my mind I can shoot over to the Apple Store and pick up a 7 and save myself over £200 on the total 24 month running costs.
  20. £25k can't be far away...
  21. Lovely machine, your probably better breaking bits off it and selling as standard as I think you'll find it very difficult to find a buyer willing to spend that kind of money on a 12 year old Zed. GLWTS
