  1. Personally I wouldn't put anything cheaper than HSD's on my car. There is a reason those are 40% the price of half decent coilovers - they'll probably rust in no time, possibly leak and they have no adjustable damping, so you're stuck with whatever rate they decide.
  2. Not sure I follow bud, or maybe my sarcasm detector is on the blink lol. Came out of the Nismo factory like that, its a Nismo Built "Complete Car" just like my 380RS http://www.nismo.co....ducts/complete/ I know the styling is marmite, but JGTC cars have always been elongated in Japan, just par for the course over there. Ok, let me correct myself. What moron designed that and destroyed an S-Tune? It really is one of the ugliest front and rear bumpers I have ever seen, it actually looks like some cheap, almost copy of the 380. I've never seen or heard of this kit before and it's not hard to see why.
  3. That insurance price seems comparable to the UK, I'm paying about £500 fully comp for a pretty heavily modified car incl. NOS. The sun however, isn't comparable

    Bike transit

There are bike racks that fit the Zed's, but they're pretty pricey.
  5. Who was the company 4re used? Buffalo or something? They had a perfect match for Alezan and they do kits.
  6. I did wasn't sure on tyre sizes. Googled it that's the size that came up on a site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk OK, never take any notice of what tyre sites or the likes say, there are thousands or car-wheel combinations and there's noway they're going to get too many right unless they've dealt with the specific type of car, most likely it's an automated system that just makes them up. Going forward with whatever your next car is that you buy wheels for, ask on the forums as those guys will know much much better than some trading site. In this case I'd have went 245/40/18 and 265/40/18, not a whole lot different that what you have, but a better match for the TCS system and would have left less of an arch gap
  7. Out of curiosity, who picked the tyre sizes?
  8. Had this before where PayPal decide to withhold my money from an eBay sale until the item is received by the buyer, frustrated me as I was planning on using the money from the sale to pay for postage, but instead that had to come out of my own pocket!
  9. Looks good, very well priced and probably an ex forum members car from the mods.
  10. Don't forget the cars are in the ROI where there is no 97+RON and the HR is the only Zed engine to detect knock over 5k, this is why I'd have the HR.
  11. Pretty cheap brand new at Driftworks.
  12. The bulb is different for pre and post facelift, D2R up to 06 and D2S after 06. Another thing to note is the throw of the beam, it'll also be aiming slightly right instead of left, I'm not sure if this is adjustable or not, but if it isn't, you may need to aim the beams even lower due to blinding other drivers.
  13. This 06 is actually a prefacelift with 276BHP and what looks like a factory fitted kit and Sat Nav. At £6500ish it's probably priced about right, providing its in as good condition as it looks. I'd be inclined to go for the HR if I could knock a few quid off, mostly due to the facelifted interior and lights and more robust engine.
  14. Assuming you'll adjust them slightly lower than normal to avoid dazzling other road users - you'll have less light on the footpath/hedges side of the road and it may fail MOT.
  15. Check the connector at the pedal that never fits correctly. Try disconnecting it and reconnecting it a tightly as you can.
  16. Just looks like a dead display cell.

    Rant

Luckily it wasn't the Zed 😉
  18. Mechanically excellent, I love the colour of the seats too, but needs a Nismo knob and aftermarket wheel. I actually like the colour, but not a fan of the bodykit or that awful graphic on the bonnet.
  19. It's not a fake and the seller isn't a fraud as nowhere in the add does it say the car is a genuine S-tune or R-tune. It is merely a Jap import with a few genuine Nismo goodies. I'm assuming the bodykit is authentic due to the clocks and as I've never heard of a Zed being imported with a fake bodykit. The wheels probably didn't come on the car, looks like someone flogged the originals which were probably just Rays and stuck these on. I also wonder what hidden Nismo gems the car may have...

    Replacement key

You will need a specialist to code it to the car, the instructions you posted only enable the key to lock/unlock the car, not start it.
  21. Heatsoak is pretty much negated by the 100 litres or air flying into the engine bay every second when driving at the national speed limit. The only time you MAY be slightly affected is if you're at traffic lights for a period of time, but then once you're moving again, it'll be cool air.
  22. If it's a UK model, it will have Xenons as standard, but with there being aftermarkets on at the moment, we don't know if the OEM wiring has been bastardised or not. Fire up a few pics
