  1. It'll be £45k which appears good value compared to it's German forefathers, however, I am certain as nice as it looks inside and out, it'll be "cheap".
  2. Last Zed - Norman This Zed - Susy Her 1 series - Snow Her old Picanto - Panda.
  3. Just to clarify, the two cans in front of the W brace are resonators, which a lot of true dual systems have as part of the Y section. In front of those are the 2 rusty cats, these are what will be changed when someone fits HFC's or decats.
  4. Is there such thing as an aftermarket wheel with an airbag that works with every car in the world, or any car for that matter? What about bucket seats. should you inform the insurer of the obvious, that they don't have airbags either? If I fit a BGW, should I inform the insurer that the car now has more rear downforce? When you fitted your decats, did you inform the insurer that they aren't road legal on your vehicle and will cause different emissions readings, or did you assume they would know that? Of course you shouldn't, because it's obvious that aftermarket wheels and seats aren't going to work with an OEM SRS system and yes, it IS the insurers responsibility to calculate the risk of each and every mod, thats why when we declare them the price either changes or doesn't, depending on the calculated risk of the mod according to the insurer.
  5. I found the Nismo S-Tune Exhaust on the 380 to be very, very quiet - hence why I gave Chris at Tarmac a big dollop of my hard earned lootz this year for a set of HFC's. Hopefully they make a difference. Was it 100% the S Tune? I think I remember there being some other JDM Nismo that's very quiet compared to the S Tune here and the US.
  6. I think they need pulled apart and the light cut off removed and refitted the other way round. I'm unsure if the beam can actually be adjusted left/right.
  7. I thought the belts were the same same for DE's and RevUp DE's Maybe H-Dev posted you a wrong belt by mistake? Get the part numbers and check with them
  8. What do you mean it doesn't make claimed power? This isn't something i've heard before, although I don't frequent the '70 section too often, but the '50 was claimed for being one of the few cars that actually meet or exceed the claimed bhp. Depends on the dyno you use , my GT Edition made 309hp with a catback , intake pipes , K&N filters and a remap on the Dyno Dynamics at H-Dev ! I never dynoed it totally stock Thats a lowly 250hp at the wheels That is genuinely shocking! What's that, 40-50 hp down on where it should be after the remap?
  9. 24.5% including the customs duty
  10. What do you mean it doesn't make claimed power? This isn't something i've heard before, although I don't frequent the '70 section too often, but the '50 was acclaimed for being one of the few cars that actually meet or exceed the claimed bhp. Also, your Type R was faster because it weighed quite a bit less, plus oodles of torque from the S/C
  11. It won't be a file, though, it'll be a program/application. It may also appear as a duplicate to something genuine, so check the dates and delete the brand new one. Because of the way OS X works, you need to actively "install" adware/malware, so in order to trick people into do this, they commonly mask themselves as common app updates that people (including me in the past) will blindly accept and install. Have a think back a few days to see if there was anything you updated, especially if it popped up whist browsing etc.
  12. Dan, have you used the MPS4's yet? Having used MPSS's in the past I'm curious to hear a comparison.
  13. Find it and delete it. I know that sounds stupid, but thats literally what you have to do. I had one quite recently that was masked as an Adobe Flash file in Applications. Go through that folder to see if you can find anything that you don't recognise, once you do find it, cmd+i and check the date it was created, if it was around the same time as the adware turned up, you're probably onto something. Just delete the file and that'll be it gone.
  14. Do people actually like heated seats? I always thought they were just bragging rights cos they sound fancy. Who wants a sweaty arse???? It's not THAT hot, but nice enough to warm your tushy on a cold winters morning, it also has 2 heat settings if you're extra sensitive
  15. Your current F/R difference is 3%, if you upped it to 40 profile tyres on the rear it would be 7%, which is quite a jump. However, to the TCS it would appear the rear is rotating slower due to the larger rolling radius, so I am unsure how the TCS would react to that.
  16. If it was an RB26 i'd say go for it, but just flog it and S/C the Zed

  18. Sign up to a photo hosting website such as Photobucket and you can copy a link from there and simply paste the link here and it'll show.
  19. Don't forget the one you linked to isn't a GT, so it has no leather, cruise control or Bose stereo and additional speakers. It may not bother you now as you have your rose tinted glasses on, but have a good think if you'd rather have heated leather, or if you'd make use of cruise control. Any driving at all on dual carriageways or motorways and I have the cruise switched on, it's just much more comfortable. Some people blast the 6.1 speaker Bose system and lets face it, it's not the best quality system in the world, but it's leagues above the measly 4 speakers in the non GT. Another thing to note is the bodykit, you CAN buy copies for cheap, but they'll cost much more to fit, I think you're looking at around a grand to fit a Nismo kit, maybe more if the boot needs resprayed after removing the OEM spoiler. This kit may also be genuine from the factory NIsmo, which makes it worth double the eBay copies and a perfect fit. Personally I think 10.5 is maybe a bit over priced due to it being a base model, 10k from a dealer is probably about right considering they have overheads and you will have rights if anything happens to go wrong after purchase.
  20. It's certainly a puzzle and completely possible that it's genuine, but there are quite a few inconsistencies with other S-tunes, such as the stickers being placed incorrectly and the missing black lips. Pretty sure the engine cover isn't Nismo, as it would have a silver section I believe. As for "Sports Resetting" if the rest of the graphics are after market then they could easily be too. I honestly have no idea and without a VIN number we'll probably never know. Could use a close up of the engine bay plaque.
  21. Was the S-tune not ONLY available JDM?
  22. Did they make S-tunes from the first run of 350's in 2002?
  23. Good spot on the plaque! Beautiful car either way. I'd love to see a dyno run vs a standard 04, it should have a few ponies more due to the Nismo cams etc that I think the S-tune came with. I've just had another look and the graphics appear to be slightly wrong, the "S-TUNE NISMO" on the sides is too small and the position of the "S-TUNE" on the rear is wrong. i could also be wrong about this, but don't S-tunes have a black lip on the bumper, skirts and spats?
  24. I'm also assuming you'll be running 245 and 275 tyres.
  25. Front may need a spacer to prevent rubbing at full lock. Rear should be fine provided your not lowered too much.
