As the title goes.. How easy is it to wrap fairly small sections on the Zed with carbon fibre vinyl? Thinking of gettin a 3m or 5m roll and doing some small areas to spruce things up if its not too much of pain in the arse?? At the minute possabilities of wrapping maybe the rear strut bar centre section, front lip, door handles, front bumper reflectors... ?? Might start with removing and wrapping the reflectors to get an idea but if anyone has experience with self wrapping?? Cheers

Hi there, seems to be a common problem with the Zed so not sure if anyone has a set of rear boot struts knocking about but really could do with some! Countless times of nearly knocking myself out over the head with that heavy boot, if anyone has a set of x2 either OEM or after market (preferably heavy duty!) struts please let me know, price, postage etc! Current car is 04 GT model so need struts that will fit that. Thanks

nice.. where did you get your blue LEDs from? are they technically illegal; do you know/show use only? im not too bothered just curious, its easy to just turn off as and when to avoid the old bill if necassary

is there nothing stopping one from removing the black plastic mount and then refixing the plate with the original screws in the holes or does it not line up/not a secure fit etc?? Is the velcro essential?

where did you get your clear reflectors for the front bumper from?

Any problems with fusing the circuit when fitting these type? Have heard a few stories. Also do the lights as they are LEDs operate slightly different for example do they dim down after a certain time like the OEM lights? Cheers

my commute is only 10 miles of country roads and boot space not really required, can still get my golf clubs in there on the weekend so thats the main thing! ive been pleasantly suprised tbh on the fuel economy too

bullet magnet do you fill up at the Shell garage just before the orwell bridge by any chance? The shop girl commented on my new motor and mentioned someone who also had one in silver, works at the docks who fills up there with V power, slightly souped up zed?? could it be you!??!

why thank you kind sir! Just spotted that you removed the number plate holder... Is this the black plastic thing behind the front number plate? Never heard it mentioned before but sticks out a little way and wouldnt mind removing mine if it is possible?? sorry if this seems a silly question

the zed has been a dream commuter so far...dunno what all my worrying and fuss was for now! Cruise control so relaxing and getting a good 30pmg + on my long journeys for work (which i get reimbursed to) least i can enjoy the drive now! thanks for all the comment everyone

Bee sting aerial fitted, was a fleabay jobby but signal reception seems to be pretty good so far so not complaining (I mainly listen to CDs or ipod anyway - just wanted to get rid of the telephone mast!) - rekons it was a nissan 350z fitment however the aerial base was flush and so did not fit over the protrusion on the standard 350z aerial base - bit of fiddling later and managed to get a plastic black washer to conceal the thread/as flush fit as i can, although not perfect bit concerned as to what may happen if water gets in there?? It has been raining today and just drove a good 80 miles, no problems yet

I am with admiral too - only do 10,000 miles a year, parked under car port on drive, both parents on policy as named driver (seems to bring it down a fair bit) etc

Remnewed my insurance yesterday 23yd old male 2 yrs no claims and 6 yrs held licence, business use and declared non standard exhaust £606 not bad i thought! for 10 months fast track though

do chrome indicator bulbs pass an MOT test (maybe a silly question im not sure ) done mine the other day (or should i say my sister ended up having to take over with her smaller hands!)

Could really do with a how to with pics as well, seems a bit fiddly and photos would definatly be reassuring! +1 do it!

Finally.. Got myself a Zed after deliberating and searching for best part of a year! Only been driving her on and off for the past week but now I have sold my previous car the 350z will be my daily commuter and should get plenty of use. So far I love the car and the driving experience, so glad I got one, wish I had done sooner tbh!! Few pics to follow, pretty standard grey GT model with Milltek full stainless exhaust system
