Hmm they seemed bright enough once plugged in but were otuside the light unit at that point. The packet says they are not e- marked but there is clearly an E mark on the actual bulb (E8 i think from memory although not sure what EU country that is meant to represent ) - legal or not??
Grey is definetly mean, its got that stealth look and business appeal. Looks good with crystal lights and nice big shiny alloys. Resale potential is also very gd for grey, silver and black - orange hmm not so good when it comes to selling up
not sure whether to try modifying the bulbs, perhaps filing the nib down to fit (kinda tricky with the glass bulb) and not sure whether to try get refund. Might even just spray the originals silver, least I know they will fit then!!
just some wheel silver i had.and yes the orange shows better than the chrome bulbs in the front.
we live and learn
Has the paint held up on the bulbs after use and gettin warm etc? Any flaking off? Tempted to try this myself. Presumably any silver spray paint will do?!
Did the click into position and fit right down to the base? I mean i can squeeze probably half the bulb in and they work but it cant be right.

anyone purchased and fitted these??

the little nibs are too big for a snug fit into the 350z bulb holder - dont get that click and they stick out a bit (work fine but dont really like leaving them half hanging out incase they drop into headlamp)
are these the wrong bulbs (silvertec fakes??) or is slight modification needed? (i have tried brute force)
the packaging was also different to these silvertec bulbs off a proper mds website http://www.performancecreations.co.uk/s ... -675-p.asp
little nibs as in bottom left corner are larger on the 'silvertec' bulbs compared to the nibs on the original and so do not click into the holder properly - wrong bulbs or diy needed??
sorry to keep reposting this - currently have the bulbs out and looking for quick answer before it gets dark!!

along, get some pics up when you can and keep us updated with any progress, would love to see how she turns out (if indeed you do go down the veilside route)
think they designed it that way for a reason!
even the 350z handbook does not give instructions on how to diy on sidelights and recommends taking it to the nissan garage for them to do (and charge an arm and a leg in the process!)
