Could be worth getting in writing from a garage or similar reputable source that the oxidisation has occurred from inside to out and not bloody stone chips as nissan keep claiming! Could be worth a go as evidence / back up when taking my car in for third time :@ what do you guys reckon or am I wasting my time??
Hi coldel what type of paint did you use to do your engine bay? Is it heat resistant? Easy to do or were there several processes to go through eg primer, gloss paint, lacquer or some type of clear coat or gloss protector?? Cheers

Bearing in mind it's an older 2004 gt model I am about to hit the 40000 mileage mark, jut wondering what kind of milestones this might indicate eg. Time for a new clutch, etc?? If any? Service is due in about 4000 miles
The dipstick on the zed is the worst design ever!! :@ is a pain getting it in an checking levels without getting oil all smeared up sides! After several attempts I think it may be under the low level but have not had an oil warning light come on or anything, is that not suppose to happen??
