Was autoglym engine and machine cleaner all you used to get it that clean inside? Presumably this will work on outside of plenum too? Mine is pretty dirty and oil stained outside as well.

Gunna get some extra work done at same timr, plugs, gearbox oil etc My current insurer just quoted me 30 something more for braided brake lines on another note but no extra for braided clutch line, worth doing??

As fate would have it I sustained a puncture on Saturday , big threaded bolt sticking out which I only noticed when wheel was on full lock!

Do you actually need those CANBUS bulbs for sidelights?

 

Normally (as in, in my past experience) you only need those with indicators to fix the rapid flashing, bit not for sidelights.

I got a pretty cheap set of led bulbs off eBay without resistors, as led type bulbs use less power to operate my car thought the bulbs had blown and so ceased to work if you got the resistors built in then you can't go wrong IMO

Trial and error on your own car, unfortunately learn a lot from your mistakes

Second time round doing something is so much easier and quicker then before!

Nice one, have purchased a pair of these will see how they hold up if not will get some from Autobulbs direct along with some other bits to hopefully get the free delivery! Delivery seems such a rip off when just getting a pair of sidelights!
