  1. Dont think so, just sensors. Well its lit up yellow when then engine is on so presumed it was connected to the bluetooth phone thing somehow. You can definitly press it a little which ive tried when searching bluetooth devises on my.phone. Didnt work though so now im baffled as to what.it is....
  2. Hey everyone! Thank you all again for all your help when buying my zed! So Ive owned the 'Ginger Ninja' as my mum likes to call it for a month now. It is such a pleasure to drive. Took me a little while to get used to sheer power which scared me but loving it now. So anyway, i cant figure out the phone bluetooth thingy majigy.... technical i know. Can anyone help tell me what I've got and what i need if anything to get it to work. Standard bit with the missing adaptor But i also have this? Not if this have something to do with the rear parking sensors or the phone. seriously i haven't got a clue! Any help gratefully appreciated. Lou :-)
  3. So i viewed the car this morning. I know what you mean about the door looking dodgy in the pic but the guy assured me that there were no problems. Viewed the car. Took my little list of everything to look out for and i have to say the car was pretty immaculate. tyres alright, lots of wear left on the break discs, body work in good nick and alloys. drove really well, no rear axle clicking noises, bose radio and sat nav working fine. Agreed to MOT it and give it a P3 service. Did an hpi check before i left and no issues showed up. they offered me a great part ex price..... needless to say the deposit was done!!! I am a very happy girly after wanting one of these for some time and hunting hard for the last 4 months. Will be picking it up next weekend!
  4. whoop whoop its not 84,600! It is 48,600 :-) :-) happy days. just hope its still there as cant get there till saturday am.
  5. Oh crap. I didnt notice that. Eurgh its blatently going to be the higher one. I'm glad someone is switched on. Will find out.
  6. Thanks for the help guys. I didnt realise you could check MOTs online. Will give it a thorough check along with the other half. Just fingers crossed I can get there to view it before it sells! L : )
  7. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... logcode=kp Ok so i've spotted this car and it pretty much fits the bill bar colour but that can be easily changed. They've given me a good price on part ex and its pretty local which is a winner. its had 5 owners, 7 stamps in the service book and will have a new mot. what should i look out for? Thanks L
  8. Thanks for your help guys! I thought it was a fairly good mileage for the spec. They have also given me a fairly good price for my car dependent of viewing of course. Thinking about taking the afternoon off work tomorrow to take the 3hr drive to view it.
  9. Thanks Sam. It is the GT model although the advert doesnt say so so do you think 7k is about right for the GT?
  10. http://www.victoriaparkgarage.co.uk/use ... 9470096938 Any help would be greatly appreciated. What's the wear like? any scratches, worn leather etc? Thinking of placing a deposit but it is a 3 hr drive to see it so wondering if anyone else has seen it. Lou :-)
  11. Thanks for this Bugsy. I'll have a look at the dents and chips, see if I can get them to knock off some money. I plan on respraying anyway if I did get this car. Definitly think its a little overpriced so hoping i can get them down a bit anyway. Good luck with your hunt.
  12. http://www.petesmithcoleford.co.uk/niss ... re-2064278 Is this a good value? or do you think i could get it for less? Any things that I should be aware of? Thanks!
  13. This ^^ I am thinking that I should just take a week off work - and go on a red bull marathon to ensure that I see every sale advert as it goes up ha ha competition! Not sure i can really afford to take any holiday but i know if i wait till the weekend it probably will have gone. grrr.
  14. Thanks! Just so difficult working all week as you cant get to see them. Would really like to buy from a dealer if I can to take any worries away about getting a dodgy car on private and so i can part ex. I am on the hunt constantly, checking auto trader and pistonheads. hopefully i will get one soon. MOT day is looming.
  15. very nice car. im slightly tempted...
  16. thanks guys for all your help. I have been looking for the perfect zed for a couple of months now and not getting very far. I either miss out on a good deal because they get snapped up so quick or possibly because my criteria is possibly a bit ambitious for the budget... annoying as i wanted to try part ex my current car before the mot runs out but doesnt look like thats gonna happen so better get the mot booked.
  17. Hmm he really doesnt wanna budge below £8.3...
  18. Anyone got any tips on getting the price down? I'm not very good at this stuff!
  19. That's what I thought. He budged when i said no to £8.3 as his lowest which i still thought was pretty pricey. I kinda left it as i wasnt so keen on his email response but now im wondering if i could give him another push if he still has it? 7-7.5 would be ideal as thats about how much i can probably sell my current car for (207cc - hairdressers car lol)
  20. http://www.evo-motors.co.uk/stocklist.asp - its is the gunmetal 350 with 39,000 miles? Not sure if the guy still has it but what would expect to pay for this car?
  21. ha ha thanks. I think I am probably ok on the fitting side of things. It was more the actually obtaining the seats and getting rid of the orange ones I was concerned about? Dont want to have to shell out hundreds if i can avoid it!
  22. Thanks for the location hint. I have now updated it. I haven't actually bought a 350z yet. So was just an enquiry as have seen a few i like just not the interior lol. My other half has a lot of contacts so would be able to get someone to fit bits for me. Was just wondering how much it might cost me to swap etc and whether its something people do and how easy it is to do.
  23. ha ha I know, if only it were that simple. Trouble finding one from a dealer with all the right spec and good price with a good service history and that will part exchange my current car (207cc)
  24. Brilliant, thank you for that! Is it an easy job even if you have the GT version with heated seats? Do many people want to swap or sell seats and other bits on here often? Sorry for all the blonde questions! L
  25. Hi everyone How difficult is it to change the seats, gear stick and steering wheel trim on a 350z? I'm a girl and dont have loads of knowledge on how to do this stuff so just an overview as I can probably get someone to do all the fitting for me. I'm very close to buying my first 350z and have found a very nice one but dont like the orange interior and would quite like to put black leather in instead. Any help or tips appreciated! L
