    I don't think he was flaming you mate, just pointing out that other people's opinions are fairly meaningless as only you know what you want from a car. My mate used to get "****" shouted at him a lot in the S2K... I've not heard anyone shout that at me yet, but then I have a roof and my exhaust is loud!

    It's a joke isn't it... my new TomTom for my tablet wouldn't even load the files. My other half's ancient TT One has them no problem. I'll be using my tablet and following someone, but will have the old TT in case I get separated.

    My mate had an S2K which was lovely. From my limited experience it's difficult to say which you'd like better, which is really all that matters. Test drive some of each and see. I would have thought that you'd have to wring the neck of the S2K to get the power, which is fun if you're in the mood, but for lazy cruises to work, might not be so good.

    HFC's should pass an MOT and they definitely give an extra roar when you get above 2.5k revs. I had mine fitted at Abbey along with the spacer, so I couldn't tell what the spacer added on it's own. I hear that it does make a slightly lower growl. I'm pleased with the new sound anyway!

    They are a bit brokeback, but if you need it for work and don't want a van, then I guess there are only a few alternatives.

    I think I'm going to be the odd one out... oh well! My car will be dirty when it arrives and dirtier when I leave. I'll have to park up near you lot and see what happens.

    Yep, DE. Have a scour of the for sale section as there are usually a few pre 06's going for very reasonable money (06-07 DE boxes are usually more expensive due to the greater airflow they achieve, but would still fit your car).

    Nice cars, was very tempted before I bought the zed. The V5 is from Volvo so it's pretty bullet proof and sounds nice too.

    Exactly, hardly anything is made / produced without using oil at some stage.

    The Government would love you to believe that the high price of petrol is down to the "evil" oil companies. It isn't... as has been said before the vast majority of the cost is tax, followed by more tax. Oil companies are rich, no doubt about it, but that's because they have a finite resource which everyone wants for just about everything.

    Green... it actually works really well with the purple wheels. I don't really like the white as it doesn't seem to work with either the purple or silver.
