  1. I'll do some investigations tomorrow and get a video up.
  2. Anything I can do to check any of these myself or is it an expensive trip to the garage! The noise is definitely from the front of the car. It might have been the noise that was making me think it wasn't pulling as it should.
  3. As Keyser says, change the fluid. Failing that get a slave cylinder and braided clutch line from Zmanalex. This happened to mine and have had no problems since replacing these.
  4. Is that an anagram of banana arm?
  5. Went for a nice drive out yesterday and didn't notice any problems with the car... Until I was slowing down to park. There has been a bit of a clunk over bumps for a couple of months, so was going to look into the droplinks. There is now a slight grinding noise and when pulling off there is a horrible rattle kind of like a hammer drill. The car still drives ok, but almost feels a little sluggish when pulling away. I first thought it might be the engine (As I've just fitted a torque damper), but it sounds fine when stationary at idle and when revved. I also double checked the oil and again all was fine. So, my conclusion is something suspension related? Any suggestions on where to start or what I can check myself? Could this be that the droplinks have failed and the ARB is now rattling?
  6. The uprev does sort out the throttle issues in 1st-3rd, but as the controller just increases the percentage of throttle position you can still use it to the same effect. I enjoyed mine when I had it.
  7. Stealthy! Right up until you see the dirty great intercooler!
  8. Fairly busy day of tinkering in the sunshine (And ducking inside when it chucked it down). Carbon Bonnet Dampers (Thanks to Steve 350Z / Redline Styling): Engine Torque Damper (Thanks to Trigg) - Almost completely hidden in the bowels of the beast: Anodised Plenum Spacer (Thanks to Ian / Wasso) - Not fitted today, but haven't showed it off yet: Anodised Slam Panel (Thanks to Ironhide): Z Dipstick (Totally out of focus): Also finally got round to fitting Fly Boy's mirror mod, but managed not to save the video of the mirrors folding. I'm sure you can use your imaginations! Thanks for looking! Next Up (Imminently): Carbon Battery / Fluid Covers - On the way from Octet Rare JDM Engine Cover - On the way from Smudgedon
  9. Never mind... Just me not looking further than the end of my nose!
  10. Finally got round to doing this today. Can anyone help with step 19? There's no purple wire (or any other colour) behind the speaker? Was going great guns until this step?
  11. Not feeling them personally. White would look good though.
  12. Going to fit mine at the weekend. There's no way in hell I'd have paid over £200, so again a massive thanks to Trigg for the group buy!
  13. I'm with Wasso, I'm not a fan of the stretched look. Needs lowering too as there is a massive arch gap! If you've got a Gmail account then add them to your G+ albums and link to the pictures. It's what I do and saves you having to create a photobucket account. Will be nice to see it with tyres and not jacked up!

    Stuarty's next car?
  15. I soooo want to do this, though probably not for a while. Would defo be up for a mini meet as it's not that far from Leeds... especially to see a V8 Zed in the making!
  16. Someone at the Wales meet had a blue bung (I'm sure I didn't imagine it) so it must be possible to get a reasonable match some how. If anyone know's where to get them from, then please do share!
  17. Maybe he doesn't want to share the others!
  18. What an amazing trip! I was planning on doing a similar one this year but never got round to it. Do you have details of the route?
  19. That's gorgeous! Really like the e46 coupe.
