  1. Renault Clio 200? Granted a bit smaller and less powerful than the others, but a very capable and fun car with bags of personality... and well under budget. Edit: Not the new turbo one, the previous model.
  2. Terrible advert, but the car actually looks pretty nice... BGW not my thing, but the rest is OK.
  3. Yeah, good body shops seem to be nigh on impossible to find, so good to share!
  4. How? I must have had my beer goggles on when we met as there's no way I would have said you were a stone and a half more than me! You need to ditch worrying about wheels and run your ass around the block a few times!
  5. Scratch that... you don't like your wheels! So you need 8j fronts and 8.5j rears with the tyres you've got.
  6. What Lexx said. It looks like you looked up the correct tyre sizes for the standard Rays, without realising that your wheels are slightly wider. So, a. sell tyres and buy wider ones or b. sell wheels and buy Rays to fit tyres. If you can return the 225's and swap for 265 or 275, then this would be the better option IMHO. The 245's should be OK on the fronts!
  7. Not that it matters, but is there any point hiding the numberplate as you've shown it on the tax disc? I guess you'll use the main pics for PH / Auto trader... so ignore me..
  8. I will be surprised if you weigh more than 11.5 stone! Eating healthily is a good thing though so props to you both!
  9. Grundy, unless you've put on some serious timber since May, then you are going to lose a straight weight loss challenge. Might be better to do a percentage loss... assuming that StevoD has been on the pies and isn't also a spikey haired greyhound!
  10. Paint aside, this is one of the nicest looking mk1's I've ever seen. Someone will be very happy with this!
  11. It's not too hard and as long as you don't touch the TB butterfly, you shouldn't have any idling issues. The only real problem I has was with some of the vacuum hoses as they are pretty tight. Oh, and don't trap the rubber piece near the oil filler cap when you put the plenum back on... you will have idling problems then!
  12. Yet another amazing conspiracy theory... I stopped reading through the piece but how have they managed to explain the deaths of 300 people (Mainly Dutch who had grieving relatives etc.)? Unless they've employed more actors like "they" did at the Boston Marathon bombings.
  13. Bloody lovely Yep, but at £1000 per wheel, they'd bloody well have to be!

    OXIGIN?

Each to their own and all that, but those are disgusting!
  15. Pretty much as everyone else has said! I love 240's and really want one myself one day. I hope you don't make this look too easy Darren and give us mechanically challenged any silly ideas! My new favourite thread!
  16. Great price for a set of used Mishi hoses... let alone a new set!
  17. I don't understand why anyone would want to buy a ratty Zed with galactic mileage? These cars aren't cheap to run, so if you only have a £4k budget, then is a Zed the right car for you? Personally, I'd either be saving up for a better Zed or buying something different? You could get a really nice RX8 for £4k...
  18. That does look really nice!
  19. I wish they did the GTR wheels in 19"... 20" is just too big IMHO. OP it's definitely possible to get them to fit as plenty of people have done it before.
  20. Cool, I'm looking forward to getting mine!
  21. We've got a new 320d and that is quick enough... The 330 and 335 must be insane! Like others have said, I'm sure they'd be really fun to drive, but the noise and low rev limit are fairly disappointing.

    240z Lwd

Left hand drive = import from California surely?
