  1. 2.2L to get to half way up the dipstick means you were down about 3L of oil! <1L of oil per 1000 miles isn't a huge issue, but as others have said you may have already done some damage. Sounds like you have a drinker, just make sure you check the oil every week or few hundred miles so it never gets too low again. A thicker oil like Ricky suggested would also be a good idea.
  2. With gearbox and diff oil, I think the Nissan OEM is recommended. Clark Motorsport will be able to sort those out for you along with some Molyslip for the gearbox. As far as oil is concerned, any "good" brand of the correct viscosity will do... i.e. Not Castrol! Fuchs, Millers, Royal Purple etc. etc.
  3. New wheels is what is required really. They aren't just scuffed, they have taken chunks of metal off them due to incompetence.... As per KyleR... Seriously... Kwik Fit? They aren't cheap or competent??? Just because you said you were happy with a refurb is irrelevant, although you'd probably have to take them to the small claims if they didn't sort it our for you. Depends how intent you are on getting them replaced or having your hard earned new wheels trashed and then fixed? I take it you aren't going to let Kwik Fit refurb them?
  4. Not all companies are total bastards... As everyone else has said, go and speak to them on Monday. Most people will only be "funny" with you if you're "funny" with them first.
  5. Fair enough, maybe being a true dual helps with the flow? I get a bit of rasp with my Nismo, but nothing too bad once it heats up. The berks will also soot up after a few 1000 miles which will help with the rasp.
  6. Totally, it's the same scroats who weren't disciplined whilst at school because teachers aren't aloud to say that children are naughty (Or cane the sh!t out of them)!
  7. If you don't want drone or rasp, then probably need to bin the HFC's as they will always add a little of these to the system. The only way round would be to go for Motordyne Art Pipes or HFC's with the resonators to eliminate Rasp like the Ark ones. I think the Tanabe Medalion Touring is the closest exhaust to the Nismo in terms of sound and still available to import from the US.
  8. I'll stop posting so much amusing and useful stuff. That should save you a few!
  9. They must be available or you'd effectively be unable to fix a mk1 if you damaged the front bumper?
  10. Not seen them for sale anywhere, but have you tried Nissan? I can't even imagine how much they would charge for it though!
  11. Bit harsh Will as 2700 people look like they're out of work. I appreciate that you may have had bad experiences with them, but maybe a little perspective needed.
  12. Don't do it, getting a bit common these days Common in both senses of the word!
  13. Love it Steve! This is still my fav kit for the 350... apart from the superleggera but that is very marmite. Hope to see it in the flesh next year!
  14. I want the Nismo v2 on a Le Mans Blue. Really hoping there's a kit soon as that would seriously tempt me away from the 350. I do like the v1, but the v2 just pushes all my buttons!
  15. I gave up reading after you mentioned Skoda diesel! I re-read after Dan's comment. That is good! Racing (to the toilet) Brown really is a lovely colour in the sun! Almost, like Interlagos Fire.
  16. I think my original post was a tad premature! It looks even more awesome than a few hours ago! Edit: I'd like to know too please as your calipers look really good.
  17. There's not really a good moral message here. I thought bad little boys got coal, not petrol fuelled combustion! Looking forward to more episodes.
  18. I think Le Mans Blue is fast becoming my fav 370 colour, but...
  19. I did the Aux Hack and it works really well for what I want. Depends how much you listen to music? I've never had a problem with the sound quality of the Bose, but some people think it's shite... Aux Hack = £20 Head Unit = £200-300 The hack is pretty easy to do: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/45398-how-to-bose-phono-ipod-hack-guide/ You can always try it and if you're still not happy then get a new HU!
  20. They look really smart. Looks like you could be on to a little sideline there! Any plans for another modded car? Yours was one of the meanest looking Zeds.
  21. Never hurts to have some competition with suppliers in the UK.
  22. Breadvan Lusted after one of these for so long, but they are so expensive now. Definitely a good investment as prices are just going up!
