  1. Where are you based? I've heard good things about Paisley Freight if you're north of the border.
  2. ^^ Love that one Buster. In fact it's giving me ideas. Anyone know what rear that is?
  3. Sorry to hear that mate. My boss had a heart attack last year and was off for over 2 months. All he had was a stint which I think is much less than a triple heart bypass. I'm sure he'll be alright as long as he now starts to look after himself. Ranolph Fienes ran 7 marathons on 7 continents after a triple heart bypass, so he should be able to make a very good recovery.
  4. Guaranteed fail with decats. You'd need to get HFC's, swap them out or know a "friendly" MOT tester.
  5. Wish I was closer to Bournemouth as I'd like to see this in the flesh.
  6. Like Graham said, £1500 seems expensive. Makes you wonder if the box was a duff or whether it's had a very hard 28k!
  7. You could get a pre facelift front bumper, but that would probably be more than £80! The reflectors are very different and wouldn't be easy to adapt. I ordered my clear ones from the US which worked out at about £55 delivered.
  8. Does this mean Wasso is building a hot rod? Or Ian? They are both doing engine swaps and adding huge power. I'm no expert, but to me a hot rod has a certain style, regardless of age or make. This 240sx is not a hot rod for me. Flames, larger back wheels and an exposed chrome engine and then you'd be heading in the right direction.
  9. Happy to help Ian if no one else volunteers... hopefully someone more local is available though!
  10. Probably Will(370z) and Andy(ioneabee)
  11. Driving normally within your ability and the conditions of the road = very little chance of anything happening. (I've had mine 3 years and this is my first RWD and 2nd ever car and I've never had any problems or concerns about the car's handling) Driving like a tit and trying to drift etc. on public roads = high chance of an accident.
  12. BMW model to engine designations have been off for years though. I remember when a 318 was a 1.8 and 325 a 2.5 etc. etc. A 340 should be a 4L V8 though!
  13. So, you'd miss the Sunday drives and have to trek from North Wales to Kent if you wanted do both!
  14. I like what someone posted the other day, it was along the lines of: "Magnatec might be sh!te, but it's still a better lubricant than air!"
  15. Shame that doesn't work for Super Unleaded... but I guess the same thing applies to premium products too.
  16. I was looking out of my office window today at the petrol station opposite. I was remembering a time when petrol was below £1 a litre and when diesel was much cheaper than petrol. Am I missing something obvious as I can't for the life of me think of why diesel is more expensive than petrol? Having a quick look online and it would appear that the duty and wholesale price are identical. The only real difference is that diesel costs more to refine, but any impact on price would surely be reflected in a difference in the wholesale price? Is it just a con because we buy more diesel now and so the garages can charge more?
  17. Wow, I do like that a lot! Is there a build thread somewhere? and hope to see a 350 modded to that standard very soon!
  18. 10w40 is also listed in the service / owners manual IIRC?
  19. Every inch of that POS is just tatty... I doubt you'd get it more that 100 yards before It fell apart. I'd be very surprised if that sells.
